Coco Plum Beach - Hidden Gem with Amazing Food, Views, and Hospitality!

Where do I start? This beach is an absolute dream—calm, crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and beautiful sandbars at low tide. It’s a bit off the beaten path (don’t confuse it with CocoPlum Bistro in Rokers Point!), but GPS will get you there easily. Totally worth the drive, especially if you’re looking for a quiet, kid-friendly beach.
Now let’s talk about Ms. Dee’s beachside shack—what an experience! Ms. Dee and her husband are the kindest hosts. They made us feel like family, especially our kids. She remembered their names and made them feel so special. That personal touch goes a long way.
The food? Incredible. On our first visit, our boys devoured a massive beef hotdog and fresh grilled lobster—both came with fries, and both were delicious. The lobster was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and that hot dog was huge and packed with flavor. We enjoyed a few well-made cocktails while the kids were in heaven with their meals.
We loved it so much, we came back a few days later. This time we tried the Duncan’s Chips with Black Bean Salsa (those chips… I need the recipe!), Jerk Chicken Wrap, Lobster Tacos, and Cheeseburger. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The wrap was so good, I ordered another one for dinner. The burger, like the hot dog, was enormous—great for sharing.
Don’t miss the small display of local artwork and handmade jewelry. We picked up a couple of beautiful pieces to remember our trip—thoughtful and reasonably priced.
Thank you, Ms. Dee! You and your husband have created something really special. This place is a must-visit if you’re in Exuma!

In addition to the "abdominal muscles" of the little turtles, there is something in the turtle hospital.
The Marathon Hospital of Key Marathon has largely subverted my imagination. On the one hand, it is professional - strict The zoning and advanced operating room, and even three ambulances, we watched an operation here, the doctor made a special trip from other states to the "flying knife" of the turtle in Figure 9; on the other hand, the turtle would be because of humans. The behavior suffers from so many injuries - in addition to ship collisions, fishing gear entanglement, foreign matter ingestion, and environmental pollution.
The Turtle Hospital has successfully treated and released more than 1,500 injured or sick turtles since its establishment 33 years ago. The leftmost old man in Figure 5 is Richie Moretti, the founder of the non-profit organization. When we asked about the establishment of the Turtle Hospital, he replied with a chest in his answer, "for the sake of my heart"...
