9 years ago, after seeing Tebasaki on *Delicious Guys*, I impulsively set off for Nagoya! That was my first solo trip, and since it was such a wonderful memory, I’ve always kept it in mind, and I revisited it during last year’s Chuseok holiday-* Since Shirakawa-go and Takayama have become such famous tourist destinations now, I boldly skipped them and, while debating where to go, found the ryokan of a lifetime. For around 300,000 won... There are a whopping 6 open-air baths and one public bath each for men and women, a total of 8...😳 Because there are so many different baths, there are usage conditions, but they aren't too difficult! Conditions like "women only at this time" or "men only at that time"...🥸 With an ocean view and countless baths... why be picky! Just go for it!🫶🏻 I wanted to keep it a secret, but I'm sharing it... 🙏🏻 There isn't much food, so you have to buy some at a convenience store beforehand! I took a 10-minute ferry ride from Shizaki Port in Aichi Prefecture and visited Shinojima Island. ✨ The island is small enough that you can get around on foot. 🚶 There are several restaurants serving delicious set meals, and I enjoyed some delicious fish. 🐠💗 There are also several small supermarkets, so I had no trouble finding snacks, drinks, and everyday items. While you can enjoy a day trip, I recommend staying overnight if you want to relax! A relaxing trip with octopus and the sea. Himakajima is a small island located about a 10-minute ferry ride from the tip of the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture. Himakajima is a great place for a casual date or trip in Aichi. It's only a few minutes by ferry, so it's easy to get there on a day trip from Nagoya. Octopus in summer, fugu in winter, and delicious raw whitebait all year round. Lots of places to eat. I thought I was a little late, but when I checked, I found out I still had time! Strawberry picking. I arrived at Strawberry Village in Chita. It's the second half of the season, so the prices are reasonable. I went strawberry picking in a comfortable greenhouse to take a break from staying at home. It brightened my mood and allowed me to experience spring.
