This trip we will visit the old city of Ngoi. This is our first time traveling here. We have planned this city for a long time from reading reviews for a while. We finally visited it. We arrived in Ngoi in the late afternoon. After getting off the boat, the uncle and aunt, the owners of the accommodation, were waiting to welcome us very well. The accommodation here is a homestay style. The service seems friendly. The price is also reasonable. Luckily, there is Wi-Fi here, even though the signal is sometimes lost. After we put our bags in the accommodation, took a shower to relax from the fatigue of the very long journey for us. We took a bus, a high-speed train, and a boat. After we arrived in Ngoi, we lay back for a while. We agreed that we would go out and find something delicious to eat. Ngoi is a small village that we can walk comfortably. We walked around the village and found the nature and friendliness of the people here. Until we found this cozy restaurant on the riverside. We agreed that we would eat dinner here. The food here from the menu looked mostly Thai food. After eating here, it was already dark. We checked in earlier than we thought. We were sore the next day. The next morning, we planned to walk up to the Pha Noi viewpoint, but our intention had to be canceled. The viewpoint is open for visitors from 8:00 AM, but our return boat leaves here at 11:00 AM, which we expected to miss. So we could only walk around to see the morning view of the village, give alms to monks in the morning, and stop to eat local food. The locals call it Khao Pun Nam Jaew, which costs 10,000 Kip per bowl, or about 15 baht. But I must say it's very delicious. After we were full, it was almost time to get on the boat. We hurried back to our accommodation to pack our bags and check out. Before leaving this city, I must say that we will remember this place for a long, long time. It is a very quiet and livable city.

There is only one boat per day, so a day trip is difficult, and if you really want to do a day trip, you can rent a boat, but the price is negotiable. The feeling of going to MuangNgoi along the beautiful Nam Ou River when the morning clouds have settled seems to be something you can only experience here. Or, you can enjoy a day trip to Nam Ou River through a travel agency, so you can take advantage of that. If you are traveling to Laos, don't stop at Luang Prabang or Vang Vieng.. No, you don't have to go to those two areas, but you absolutely have to visit this rural village.. You will never forget it.
