All Moments About Oshamambe
[Hokkaido] How about touring remote stations?
This is Shizukari Station on the Muroran Main Line in Oshamanbe Town.
Only about three people use the station per day.
There are houses lined up in front of the station, and there is also an elementary school nearby, so I felt this number was odd, but in fact, there are only nine trains that stop at Shizukari Station per day, both up and down. .
But there are quite a few tourists who get off here and explore the area.
It's interesting that even though there is nothing there, you somehow feel attracted to it.
I hope you will experience its charm with your five senses!! !

[Hokkaido] Oshamanbe, a port town with hot springs and no tourists
#Spring0yentrip
Oshamanbe is a quiet and peaceful town, but it is packed with the taste of travel. The first place we stopped at was Kanaya. The specialty crab rice is gently seasoned rice topped with a generous amount of softly shredded crab, and it is more satisfying than it looks. Even though it was a bento, it was warm and it seemed to relieve the fatigue of the trip. After that, we went to a hot spring. It has a calm atmosphere that even locals use, and the moist hot water seeps into our body. It is not a flashy tourist destination, but it is a kind town that relaxes the mind and body.

Where to Eat the most delicious hairy crab?
If you love hairy crab, you should head to Oshamambe. I recommend Hamanoya this particular shop that serves really affordable delicious hairy crab! This beautiful Hokkaido hairy crab Kegani (2000-5000 yen) is best in season from Apr-Aug/ Nov-Dec. You choose the crab and they boil for you! Juicy firm sweet salty meat (because they are usually broiled in salty water). Their Kanimeshi set (1750 yen) is also delicious and great with some crab meat flesh and miso soup w crab. Oishii!! #cherryblossom2024

Snowy Serenity: Oshamambe Adventures Await
#2024wish
In January 2015, at Oshamambe Station, I found myself captivated by the charm of this small town in Hokkaido, Japan. While waiting for my connecting train, I explored the tranquil streets, lined with traditional houses dusted with snow. A local restaurant beckoned, serving steaming bowls of miso soup and fresh seafood. The simplicity and warmth of the town left an indelible mark. The Oshamambe locals, known for their friendliness, shared stories that resonated. As I boarded the train, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. In 2024, I wish to go there again, to relive the serenity and create new memories in that enchanting corner of Hokkaido.

#2024wish
In January 2015, I embarked on an unforgettable trip to Oshamambe Station, a charming haven in Hokkaido, Japan. The station's rustic charm and snow-covered surroundings welcomed me. Seeking refuge from the cold, I discovered a traditional Japanese restaurant nearby. The warmth exuding from the tatami mats and the aroma of freshly prepared dishes filled the air. The hosts treated me with unparalleled warmth, serving authentic Japanese cuisine that left an indelible mark on my memory. Their kindness and hospitality transformed a simple lunch into a cherished experience. As I reminisce about that winter day, I can't help but yearn for a return. In 2024, I wish to go there again, reliving the magic of Oshamambe and the heartfelt hospitality that defined my visit.

This is the water spout that we're talking about. It's gushing out with incredible force, a roaring sound, and an irregular rhythm.
