Palau🇵🇼Koro State|Look at the fish swimming around🐠Free travel🚶🏼
If you are a diving enthusiast or love the ocean, it is highly recommended to come here. The sea water is so clear that you can see hundreds of different types of fish swimming around you without going to very deep. There are many kinds of corals, and the sunshine and the beach form a beautiful picture. Palau protects the environment very well👍.
Transportation tips: Currently, only China Airlines flies alone, and they fly regularly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you join a tour group, you don’t have to worry about local transportation. Fortunately, there is a considerate ❤️B&B owner who rented a 🚗car to us at a cheap price 😘🥰.
Must-see attractions: Although it is not the capital, Koro State is the most lively place in Palau. Most of the hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, small department stores and seaports are here. The scenic spots are all distributed in the Rock Islands. The Rock Islands are usually divided into the east and the west. Enjoy this beautiful sea in a leisurely way🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍
Rock Islands Snorkeling Day Tour - West Route
Yamanaka Lake (Japanese shipwreck ruins) ~ Whale Island (take photos while on the boat) ~ Great Fault (pass through the German waterway and overlook the Seventy Islands Conservation Area) ~ Long Beach Island (lunch) ~ Rose Coral Reserve ~ Little Blue Hole Soft Coral Area ~ Lover's Bridge (take photos while on the boat) 🐳🐠🦀🐙
Rock Islands Snorkeling Day Tour - East Route
Milk Lake (volcanic mud natural SPA) ~ Shark Island (lunch) ~ Shark City ~ Golden Jellyfish Lake ~ Scallop City ~ Fantasy Colorful Fish World (Blue Staghorn Coral) 🐠🐋🦈
Recommended hotel: This time I stayed at Shell Villa apartel resort, the room is quite big and has a kitchen where you can cook your own meals👌
Must-try food: Bem Ermii Burgers & Fries is a very popular burger food truck in Palau. One night I went to the Mermaid Restaurant and ordered a table of dishes. The special ones were the 20-year-old giant clams and coconut crabs.
Note: In order to maintain the beautiful environment, Palau stipulates that sunscreen can only be worn with the logo of protecting the ocean. Don’t think that it cannot be checked, because every piece of luggage 🧳 will be opened for inspection 😱.
For example, if you travel independently like me, you need to pay an extra 50 USD for a sea permit if you want to go out to sea, and a jellyfish tax of 50 USD if you want to see jellyfish. As for the departure tax, it is already included in the air ticket 🎫; therefore, the local government gives the tourists 100 USD, which they need to pay immediately to pay for the sea and jellyfish permit 😂😂😂.
If you want to see the golden jellyfish, unless you are lucky👍, other jellyfish are becoming less and less😭😭😭
