It was a trip to Pengzhou, China 🇨🇳 We kicked off our day with a visit to Dujiangyan Panda 🐼 Valley, located near Pengzhou. The valley is home to the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center, where you can get up close with these adorable creatures in a lush, natural environment 🌱 We were lucky enough to watch the pandas munching on bamboo, and the peaceful surroundings made for a perfect morning stroll ⛅️ If you’re a panda lover, this is a must-see! 🐾 📍Dujiangyan Panda Valley, Pengzhou, Chengdu, Sichuan After meeting the pandas 🐼 we explored the historic Pengzhou Ancient Town, a peaceful area with traditional architecture, old streets, and cultural relics. The ancient town gives you a glimpse into the city’s rich history, and we found some fantastic photo spots 📸 including the old city gates and beautiful bridges ✨ The local markets are also great for picking up traditional crafts and souvenirs 🛍️ 📍Pengzhou Ancient Town, Pengzhou, Chengdu, Sichuan In the afternoon, we took a short trip to Mount Yulei ⛰️ a scenic spot offering stunning mountain views and ancient temples. We spent the afternoon hiking up the trails, enjoying the fresh air and serene surroundings 🙌 The Yulei Temple, located halfway up the mountain ⛰️ is a peaceful place to rest and reflect. I spent New Year's Eve at a mountain resort with hot springs in Pengzhou. I enjoyed the hot springs at the foot of the mountain, and at midnight, everyone came out to set off fireworks. I finally felt the festive atmosphere in advance! 🏨 The villas are built by the mountains and the water. The hotel has private hot springs and outdoor hot springs. It's close to Haiwozi Ancient Town and Danjingshan Scenic Area, and about an hour and a half drive from Bailu French Town. The hotel also has charging stations, making it perfect for a weekend getaway. 🏡 The living room is spacious and bright, equipped with soft sofas and carpets. The bedrooms are cozy and warm, with sufficient heating. The family suites are also well-appointed. There are one- to three-bedroom options available, suitable for small gatherings with friends or traveling with pets. ♨️ The public hot springs seem newly renovated and are located at the foot of the mountain. It would be even more beautiful if it snowed, soaking in the hot springs under the snow-capped mountains. The private hot spring pools are also very clean. 👭 The butler service is warm and thoughtful, providing welcome fruits, late-night snacks, and farewell gifts, making you feel comfortable and pampered. They even prepared small fireworks for us for New Year's Eve, which was a pleasant surprise. I heard they prepare them for guests throughout the New Year period.

I just went to explore the road last week, this is really a hidden forest secret around Chengdu! Standing in 4600 acres of pristine fir groves, with straight trunks tens of meters high all looking up, the sunlight leaking from the seams of the trees is extinct! My friend even thought I went to Nordic countries, actually driving 1.5h away! 📍 Navigation directly search "Middle Dam Protection Station", pro-test the most accurate 🕒 Recommended to leave at 8am, before 10am to the most fairy light 🚙 Self-driving party note: the latter half of the mountain road is enough for a car to cross, beginners are recommended to stop down the mountain (10 dollars parking fee) hike 40 minutes up the mountain, old drivers can challenge the halfway parking space 👣Two routes test: 1. Lazy Must-Have Wooden Canyon Loop (about 1.5h) Donate from the path next to the iron gate, the whole journey is paved canyon, bringing parents and children is no problem!
