A multi-brand lifestyle shop that's very popular among Shanghai locals. After a lot of hype and buzz around this restaurant, which the waiting crowd also proves again; finally we got the seat on a perfect sunny Friday morning. RAC cafe is an all-in-all French cuisine, so if you are looking for some amazing crepe of all kinds, then this is the place for you. We ordered the default crepe with egg and mushroom. And RAC combo which includes bacon, lettuce, bread and mushroom again. The perfect one for me is the sweet crepe, that gives me four dip options (caramel, chocolate, sugar syrup, and butter). Maybe it is too sweet for many of you out there 😜 but I'm totally satisfied. An interesting fact is that crepe looks exactly like the south indian cuisine Dosa, where the side dips would be made of coconut mashup, tomato mashup and coriander mashup all a bit spicy with chili. As the french too had colonies in India, not sure who got the recipe from whom haha. But overall, I love the fact food has traveled too, around the globe. The prices are also affordable at RAC cafe which makes it a great attraction. P.S. Their timings are 8 am to 10pm due to the huge crowd. Visited Shanghai for the first time and was very impressed. The city is clean, and getting around is super convenient, whether using the metro that covers the entire city or calling a Didi through Alipay. It's affordable, and there's no need to exchange any cash as everything can be paid via card or Alipay. There are plenty of attractions, delicious food, and it's a place you can visit multiple times. Sharing my first-ever solo travel experience in Shanghai for 3 nights and 4 days. I visited various recommended spots such as The Bund, Wukang Mansion, Anfu Road, Yuyuan Pedestrian Street, Rock Bund, and the area around the Oriental Pearl Tower. Getting around was super convenient with the metro system that connects the entire city. Ticket prices start at just 2 yuan (about 10 baht), making transportation very affordable. Every restaurant I tried served delicious food—whatever I picked turned out to be tasty. While language might be a slight barrier, Google Translate and some hand gestures can help you communicate effectively. The locals are friendly and welcoming, often trying to converse with you. Even if they don't understand the language, they respond with smiles and laughter, making the interactions enjoyable.
