#batamtrip Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay is my favorite hotel whenever I visit the island. The location is perfect - conveniently close to shopping centres and restaurants, and just 15 minutes drive to Grand Mall. What makes it even better is that the hotel is directly connected to the ferry terminal and a shopping centre, making travel and leisure incredibly convenient. The facilities are top-notch, and the rooms are always clean and well maintained. A special shout out Ms Indri at the front desk for being so cheerful, friendly, and helpful -she really made check-in a breeze. I also want to commend the housekeeping team especially Sihol and Tautik,for their passion and dedication. Breakfast at Goji kitchen & Bar is another highlight. The layout and variety are excellent, and it's a great way to start the day.The new service staff Ms July at Goji Kitchen also deserve praise for her excellent service attitude- friendly, attentive, and professional.The Goji kitchen & Bar Team and throughout the hotel all staff are friendly, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming - they are the true jewels of the Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay. Four Points hotel is a decently priced hotel so you can definitely treat yourself with a suite experience here! It is located quite close to the central town area, with easy access to Grand Batam shopping mall and the smaller surrounding cafes. The room was spacious and furnished with a modern aesthetic, although it could definitely use more room decor as it can feel a bit bland. KFC, indomart, all the restaurants and minimarts also Eska spa just downstairs. Nagoya mall is 5 mins via grab which cost only $1.90 😍 Our favourite hotel to come for short getaway with our toddler, the hotel staffs recognised us whenever we come to stay as we are regulars 😁 Room is perfect and clean, we always book the one with balcony facing the pool as we have a toddler so she can go in and out to the balcony to maximise her energy and curiosity! Room service is great but singapore price! Shower is amazing as they have rain shower and strong water pressure. Spa is amazing and good pricing similar to Eska downstairs. Breakfast is always amazing with lots of varieties from local cuisine to western to japanese. Downside - hotel is near mosque so you can hear the call to prayer and quran recital in the morning and evening. Also if you stay on weekends there will be a weekend market next to the hotel in an open space parking lot. The service is good, friendly staff, and to go around, the best is to order Grab. Its a safe place, the security guard is always around and guests need an access card to go up to the room. Overall, it's a delightful and affordable choice for travelers looking for a cozy retreat in Batam.

This was my inaugural stay at Marriott Batam, booked by my daughters who claimed it came highly recommended. The view from our room was stunning, offering sights of Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. The hotel celebrated my birthday with a thoughtful display of well wishes, alongside bed decorations and charming messages from the staff. Marriott is just a 5-minute walk from the jetty—ideal for a relaxing retreat with friendly personnel. Kudos to the exceptionally helpful concierge team, Mez and Fadriz, for managing our luggage, providing guidance, and arranging delivery of delicious lapis straight to the hotel, sparing us the hassle of carrying it. Make sure not to miss the marvelous infinity pool and enjoy a drink to unwind. We had an amazing time and hope your experience will be equally enjoyable. As a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member, I typically favor Marriott hotels, yet this particular location truly impressed me. From the moment I stepped onto the property until my departure, I had the joy of being attended to by a genuinely committed team. Every staff member would stop, smile, and acknowledge guests, whether serving or simply passing by in the corridor. As an Elite member, I was immediately escorted to the lounge for check-in, where the delightful and consistently smiling Miss Jenifer welcomed me warmly. She went above and beyond with an early check-in, an upgrade, and a lovely amenity. In the evening, Mr. Deri, the lounge manager, personally greeted me by name to ensure my comfort. The hotel's F&B options were excellent in quality. The room was well equipped in the typical Marriott style. Though the property is only 5 years old, it is remarkably well maintained. If your journeys lead you to Batam, I highly recommend this hotel because of the phenomenal staff. Whatever management is doing for staff engagement is clearly effective. Terima kasih!

📅 Itinerary Day1：Arrival at Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal immigration was very smooth. Went for Lunch at the cafe on the 2nd Level . Lunch was ok. The Hotel was just a walking distance from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. Check in was smooth at Yello Hotel service was excellent. Room is clean and spacious . We rested for about an hour before we decided to take a walk opp Harbour Bay Ferry terminal where there are a lot of locals went for evening walk. A very pleasant evening walk. For dinner we went to one of the seafood restaurant along Harbour Bay . After dinner we went for a foot massage . Came back to the hotel for a good night's sleep. Day2: After breakfast about 11am we took the free shuttle to Nagoya Mall. We had a good seafood lunch at the Chinese halal restaurant . There are a lot of shops where you can get handbags, shoes etc. There are also supermarkets in the basement where u can get the famous Indonesian nuts and the green chillies in the bottle. After hours of shopping we decided to take a walk to Nagoya Thamrin where they have too many choices of food. We had some light food and drink before taking a grab back to the hotel which cost us only SGD2. Again we went for foot massage but this time is a different spa which is nearer to Yello Hotel cheaper and fantastic service. We head back to the hotel to rest. Day3: After breakfast we decided to go to Grand Mall. The free shuttle from the hotel was only at 4pm but since is not a busy period they actually sent us to Grand Mall at 11am. Service from the hotel is top notch highly recommended. We decided to watch Superman after the movie we went for lunch at the basement cafe. There is also supermarkets at the basement. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants at Grand Mall and also shopping. After awhile we decided to take a grab to Nagoya Mall. We bought some stuff from the supermarkets. Took Grab to the Chinese Halal Restaurant in Harbour Bay . Decided to go for another foot massage before going back to Singapore the next day . Came back to the Hotel packed all our stuff for the next day back home. We recommend you to try the delicious seafood menu with its magnificent view in the most touristic part of the city. The warmth and hospitality of the staff is very good. I just think the dessert is a bit too sweet, I don't like it very much, everything else is ok, the environment is really very good. The scenery is great, I like the atmosphere of this restaurant. The room, although a little small, remained cozy. But in the summer, I imagine that the terrace is crowded. Both the burger and fried teriyaki chicken are great and they have a big selection of drinks. There are games and books available to use and the staff is friendly. There are cool books to read and a fun atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the service is very quick. There’s upstairs sitting and outdoor sitting as well. Overall outlet setting is beautiful n nice with a garden at the outside seating. Menu are wide ranch. The coconut cake is delicious, the coffee is rich and fragrant, and there are many photo spots. All the staff are lovely.Both the service and the food was amazing. Live music was the icing on the cake and we loved chatting with the owner of the restaurant after our meal. We passed by this place sevral times. It drew our attention. Cozy place with vintage-modern interior design in the centre of batam.Easy to reach it with public transportations or your own vehicle. It's a little bit pricey but not worth it. I ordered green tea latte and appetizer (I forgot the name). The price was almost in the range of starbucks and starbucks green tea latte is much better than this (even in same price). A good and trendy place to spend your time. Got lots selections of desserts, food and beverages. Love the taste of their cappucino and ice cube latte. They serve coffee, chocolate, tea, and some other beverages. For the coffee, i tried their tibra using pour over method, taste is good but seems like better to be served as espresso. They also serve some food like bread, pastry, pasta, rice, poached eggs, and other food that you can eat anytime you want. They also serve traditional chicken porridge. Provides free infused water. Their chai latte is very good (not too milky) & the vanilla pannacota is great, very fruity and silky, you can taste the pannacota as we. Ordered flat white & eggs benedict. Flat white is acceptable, not exceptional. Hollandaise sauce on eggs Benedict is quite bland, though the bread is good. Service is warm. Ambience is comfortable with small & large tables available. Also, please try their Banana Lime cake, it's so good. They only serve Arabica coffee which is not my preference though. #batamguide
