[2025 Hong Kong Restaurant] Travel Guide for BluHouse (Updated Jun)

It is actually our 2nd time back at Blu House, Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong. We came last year and really enjoyed it, so have decided to come back for our 2nd Anniversary due to their hospitality! We were welcomed with complimentary champagne and rosemary focaccia. Beautifully lightly buttered toasted, a great way to start a meal with a glass of bubbly. Their seafood is fresh, octopus is a must order if you go to Blue House. So we’ve ordered their seafood pasta Mezzi Paccheri ai frutti di mare, well cooked to al denté. Squid was so soft and squid really chewy, prawns were not overcooked. Now, we came back particularly for their roast chicken, pollo allo spiedo. We loved it the first time we came, served with roast potatoes and mushrooms, nice and sweet! It was great pairing with their complimentary peperoni e olive, smells wonderful and tastes wonderful. To finish up, of course there was dessert! Their tiramisu is a must, my favourite. Then we also ordered their grape tart, fresh and custard was smooth. They were also absolutely welcoming with something extra for us. I personally loved the crème puff, which I’ve originally eyed out in the beginning before I decided on the tiramisu. There are a few friends whose birthdays I insist on celebrating every year, and this friend is one of them. When I ask her what she wants to eat, her reply is always 'anything is fine, something simple will do.' We've had Chinese food the last few times we dined together, including her birthday last year. So this year, let's change it up and go for Italian cuisine! Bluhouse, once a hard-to-get reservation, was 90% full on the eve of the holiday. In today's market, that's quite impressive. As soon as we sat down, the staff brought us a bread basket. The hard-crusted sourdough bread has never been my first choice, but dipped in oil and vinegar, it's still enjoyable. None of us have big appetites, so we didn't order much. Carbonara is a signature dish here and also my favorite, so I indulged a bit. It's the traditional version without cream. The thick, straight pasta is chewy, coated in egg yolk sauce and cheese, with flavorful Guanciale. It's unbeatable. The pizza here doesn't have to be ordered whole; you can get a smaller portion (four pieces). It's really good. There are quite a few pizza options, but you won't find pineapple pizza here. We went with the classic Margherita. When it comes to pizza, less is more—simple tomato sauce, cheese, and basil make for a timeless and delicious choice. A birthday celebration must include something sweet. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the choices in the dessert display, wanting to try everything. But as she said, you can't go wrong with any choice because everything is sure to be delicious. We picked the Chocolate Deliziosa and Zeppola. The restaurant thoughtfully added a candle and birthday sign as I had requested when making the reservation (many restaurants don't follow through on such requests). Both desserts were full of traditional Italian flavors and quite tasty. Sipping coffee and chatting away, we always have endless topics to discuss, staying until the restaurant closed. Do you want to have a delicious meal while watching the gorgeous night view??? This is a place called bluhouse in Simsa-chui~ It's on the first floor of a building called rosewood next to K11^^ It's not a night view from a high place, but you can enjoy a meal while looking at the harbor view outside and being served by friendly staff^^ The food was delicious and the price was reasonable, so it was good~ The tiramisu and coffee were also delicious~ Everyone, go there~ #HongKongFlightEvent

BluHouse is located in the G/F of Rosewood Hong Kong. You can also reach the restaurant from K11 Musea~😉 It was difficult to book a table at BluHouse when it first opened, but now I can get one 1-2 weeks in advance. The restaurant recommended this time is in the Rosewood Hotel! This restaurant is called bluhouse Holidays and evenings are super super hard to book! (It’s much easier on a weekday lunch). environment: ❤️ The restaurant is divided into indoor and outdoor. 💩 However I don't know if it's because the restaurant is popular, so the environment is more noisy, talking to friends is really a bit hard.
