When I went, the weather was good, there was no sun, so I could sit comfortably and chill because the shop does not have air conditioning. However, I personally think that the menu is a bit limited and the price is a bit high. For those who go there often, it is probably suitable for checking in. I recommend checking in.

# My Solo Girl's Day Trip to Songkhla - Super Easy & Fun! Hey there! Just got back from the cutest day trip to Songkhla in Southern Thailand, and I've gotta share how amazing (and totally doable) it was flying solo! ## Getting There - No Stress! I flew into Hat Yai Airport (super easy to find flights), then grabbed a taxi right outside - only took about 30 mins and cost around 400-500 baht. Pro tip: Download the Grab app before you go for even cheaper rides! ## Morning Vibes Started my day wandering through the adorable Old Town with THE COOLEST street art everywhere (just like that colorful mural in the first pic!). It's basically Instagram heaven with all these cute shophouses and hidden alleyways. Just pick a street and explore - you can't go wrong! ## Food Stops (OMG the food!) You HAVE to try those amazing salted egg pastries (they look like that yummy thing in the second pic) - absolute game-changer! The seafood is super fresh too. I just popped into places that looked busy with locals near the clock tower and wasn't disappointed! ## Beach Time! Later, I chilled at Samila Beach (looks exactly like that third pic) for a couple hours. It's way less crowded than places like Phuket, and the water is gorgeous! Perfect spot for a little swim, or just to relax under the trees with a cold drink. Don't forget to snap a pic with the mermaid statue - it's kinda the thing to do here! ## Getting Around is a Breeze I mostly hopped on songthaews (those colorful truck-bus things) for like 20 baht a ride. Super cheap! Or you can just use Grab if you're feeling lazy. The town isn't huge, so it's pretty easy to navigate. As a girl traveling alone, I felt totally safe the whole time. The locals were so sweet and helpful whenever I looked a little lost (which happened more than once, lol). Songkhla gives you all those authentic Thai vibes without the crazy tourist crowds. Perfect if you want a chill day experiencing the real Thailand! ✌️

There was a slight delay, but it was okay. The accommodation was comfortable. After that, I traveled to Sampeng in the evening. It was something that I really liked. Especially when traveling with friends, the fun was x100. It can be considered a happy trip at the end of the year for Vee. ❤️

#2024wish 📍LABALA De’Forest Café 13, Khok Muang, Khlong Hoi Khong District, Songkhla 90230, Thailand Cute café to get some instagrammable photos while in Hatyai. It is located quite far away from the city centre, but nearby Hatyai airport, so I guess it is more recommended for those driving instead of taking tuktuk or grabcar. Beautifully decorated store with boho and Bali vibes, spacious and the whole area is open air. It might get a little humid and hot in the afternoon as there is no air conditioner but we were there when it was cloudy so it was all good! Quite a limited food menu. We ordered some coffee and fried chicken. Love the fried chicken, was served hot and crispy, very flavourful! Great snack for tea time! In 2024, I wish t travel to Seoul, Korea!

Wang Pha Waterfall is quiet and peaceful. There aren't many people. It's refreshing.
