beautiful Turin! Bellíssima architecture! big streets and really nice food and restaurants. Also, really good museums to go! Swiss Alps are all around and you’ll always watch them from everywhere. Churches are beautiful and with really deep detailed architecture. If that makes sense. Really worth it! Good coffe places, public transportation and nice for walks.

If you visit Turin, you should have a walk in one of the best park in the city.🏞️🇮🇹 The Parco del Valentino is located on the banks of the Po river a few kilometers south of Turin.🏞️🛶 In May 2022, I was there to watch Eurovision song contest.🎙️ Turin was the host city for the event, and Eurovillage has been set in this park where everyone could watch the contest all together and have party. In a public holiday, booking a ticket online to make sure it’s available to enter or sometimes you may need to line up for an hour 😢. After a stressful week, a sauna is exactly what I needed. During my trip to Turin, I stayed at Best Western Plus Hotel Genova, which has a really futuristic spa 🧖‍♀️. For €30, you have two hour access. the steam room has a sky full of stars 🌌! outside the steam sauna, a small ice cube pool lets you cool down 🧊. The hotel is very convenient, directly o ur side the central train station and has teams to most attractions. Food wise, I found Cafe Vittorio Veneto to be affordable and at the same time has a nice view. The Bolognese, Tiramisu and Latte Macchiato was €20 in total 🍰🍝☕️. If you want to see what life is like in the Medieval ages, head to Turin, a city 2 hour bus ride away from Milan. I was lucky to get the €1.99 bus ticket at 6:45am from Milan. 🚌 Borgo Medievale is a fortress and town built in 1884 to replicate a medieval city of Piedmont region. You will find shops selling Lord of the Rings style jewllery and costumes. 💎💍👑🫅 For a nature and religious experience, head to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, an easy 12 minute walk from the closest team station. You will get a pretty good view of Turin, comparable with the view from the Mole (closed until November 2022). Then head down the hill in a tranquil nature 🍃🍁hike to Gran Madre di Dio for awesome Roman architecture. 1. Caffe Platti, which has a history of over 100 years, has an interior decoration in a very European aristocratic style, but the coffee here is very affordable☕️⋯Friends who come to Turin, it is worth a visit! Here you can taste Turin's specialty coffee Bicerin (chocolate milk coffee), and desserts are not to be missed. I ordered a cake, and every bite was full of rich chocolate aroma. #Overseas Travel Le Scodelle, an Italian restaurant in Turin in northern Italy, focuses on Emilia-Romagna regional cuisine and adds innovative elements that are very surprising! Gnocco fritto fried dough cake - paired with Italian air-dried ham, the crispy Gnocco Fritto and the salty and delicious Prosciutto are really a perfect match. For the first dish, I chose Tortellini. These tiny dumplings were all handmade and served with a sauce made from 30-month aged Parmesan cheese, which was full of rich cheese aroma. Bicerin, Turin's traditional milk-foam chocolate coffee! To make this traditional coffee, you only need three ingredients: chocolate, Italian espresso and a layer of smooth milk foam Crema di Latte! I feel that layer of milk foam is the essence of Bicerin. It is not as heavy as a creamy panna cotta, nor as light as the foam on a cappuccino. #Overseas Travel Take the Sassi-Superga nostalgic tram from the center of Turin to the top of the 672-meter-high Collina Torinese Mountain and visit the Basilica di Superga on the mountain. The church was completed in 1731. It is a late Baroque and neoclassical architectural style. There are eight Corinthian columns at the entrance. On clear days, you can see the panoramic view of Turin near the church. The day I visited there happened to be smog and visibility was not very high. An accident occurred here in 1949, when a plane carrying the Grande Torino football team crashed not far behind the church, and all members of the team died in the accident. #holidayvacation The salt roads between Piedmont and Liguria were lands of passage for shepherds, pilgrims, muleteers, traders and travelers who, from western Liguria and nearby Provence, reached Piedmont and northern Europe via the Alpine passes, creating dense networks of exchanges. These were places of transit guarded by many watchtowers scattered throughout the territory. The territory between the Alps and the Ligurian Sea is characterized by a rich cultural system consisting of churches, monuments, castles, historic centers and buildings, "hospitali" i.e. places of rest and prayer, as well as paths, mule tracks, passages. Most of the routes called "Salt roads” starting from Nice and Porto Maurizio (in Liguria), converged into “Colle del Cornio” (nowadays known as “Colle di Tenda”) from where they continued northwards. Also known as "Via Marenga". (i.e. "that leads to the sea"), the Salt route that passed through Limone was a characteristic mule track that, although it exceeded very high altitudes, did not present annoying up and downs. Nowadays, the "Salt Routes" have lost their commercial connotation and have taken on an important role in outdoor tourism: hikes, trekking and mountain bike destinations, which allow to explore territories that are still uncontaminated and rich in flora and fauna varieties. The Salt road which goes along the former military road Limone - Monesi is a route of medium difficulty, which reaches, as its highest point, 2,239 m. above sea level. Starting points can be the railway station of Limone P.te, with a route of 53 km, or the “Colle di Tenda” with 39 km.
