I visited the New Year's special buffet. It was quite crowded and more lively than I expected. I enjoyed an elegant lunch buffet while listening to the sound of live piano music.
As for the taste, I guess I had too high expectations, but it was a bit disappointing. The menu was well-thought-out and international, but the squid ink paella was a bit watery, the butter shrimp curry was too sweet, the empanadas were too fluffy, the canelés were not crispy, the hummus did not have much cumin, and the biryani was not spicy enough...I think they are trying to cater to Japanese people, but there was nothing that tasted authentic. The freshly made cheese kulcha was delicious. The red parts of the roast beef were delicious, but the fatty parts were stringy. I liked the salad and cold dish corner. The dessert section was also pretty good, and I wonder if the chocolate gateau was delicious? And the dark horse, the soft serve ice cream was milky, rich and delicious! By the way, it was a shame that there was no fresh fruit.
I guess this buffet is more about the variety of choices than the taste. I was a little disappointed because it was a bit pricey, but it was a great time to experience the fun of a buffet being able to enjoy a variety of things you want to eat at the same time!
