The tour guide also taught us how to use fresh grass jelly to make headbands, which we can take home and dry to make grass jelly tea. There are also many edible plants in the park, such as allium, mint, pineapple sage, gotu kola, chicken grass, coin grass, mugwort, aromatic marigold, pandan leaves, lemongrass, white sugar cane... and so on. You can also touch and smell them yourself, and you can even take them home and be taught how to plant them through cuttings. It's really a great experience. The season happened to be right, so it was a rare opportunity to participate in the seasonal firefly viewing event.
