When traveling in Aksu, Xinjiang, I checked in at the Dao Lang Tribe scenic area. Of course, this Dao Lang is not that Dao Lang. There is no Route 2 bus in the village, nor do they listen to Dao Lang's songs. Instead, it's a mysterious tribe living on the edge of the Tarim Basin, in the Yarkand River basin. Their ancestors migrated to the lower plains of the Yarkand River, built houses and hunted and fished in the desolate desert Populus euphratica forests, thus beginning a long reclusive life. As a result, they have maintained their original ecological customs and are very characteristic of travel. In the tribe, you can not only learn about the history, culture, and living habits of the Dao Lang people but also enjoy some very exciting dance performances. I saw two of them this time.
