Natural scenery
Death Valley is a clay depression near Sossusvlei, a tourist attraction in the Namib-Naukluft National Park in southwestern Namibia, Southwest Africa. It is characterized by dark old trees that have died, which contrasts sharply with the white depression. The depression was formed when the Tsochab River flooded, and the abundant water allowed the trees to grow. However, the climate later changed and the sand dunes eroded the depression, blocking the river from flowing into the area. It is estimated that the trees are about 900 years old, but due to the dry climate, they have not yet rotted. Death Valley is a photographer's paradise, with dark trees contrasting with the white plains and rust-red sand dunes contrasting with the deep blue sky, forming a series of breathtaking pictures. It takes at least 1 kilometer to walk from the parking lot to Death Valley, so be sure to bring drinking water.
