#SeoulHotel Hello, everyone! 🙌 I'm Atchan, a big fan of Korean food and city walking. This time, I'll be introducing K Guesthouse Dongdaemun Premium, a guesthouse I've stayed at several times during my solo trips to Dongdaemun. This time, I stayed in a standard double room. The room was spacious, with plenty of room for even spreading out my luggage. My first impression upon entering the room was that it was immaculately cleaned and felt very clean. The shower pressure in the bathroom was also excellent. A simple breakfast is included, and it's served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The front desk is on the third floor. Rooms start on the fourth floor, but there's an elevator, so you don't have to worry about bringing large bags! Hello! ✨ New menu of Kyochon Chicken (교촌치킨), a popular fried chicken chain in Korea! ✨ Introducing the corn flavor 🌽♡ The menu we ordered is Kyochon Oksu-susunsal (교촌옥수수순살)! In Korean, "Oksu-sus" means corn and "sunsal" means boneless meat 😊 We ordered corn-flavored boneless chicken ♩ As for the taste... The savory flavor of corn, the sweetness of honey and butter, and the saltiness like black pepper were perfectly balanced, and it was sweet and salty and really addictively delicious 🤤🍴 Juicy boneless chicken is covered with crispy corn flakes and fried. Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP; Korean: 동대문 디자인 플라자) is a major urban development landmark in Seoul, South Korea, designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo, with a distinctively neofuturistic design characterized by the "powerful, curving forms of elongated structures." The landmark is the centerpiece of South Korea's fashion hub and popular tourist destination, Dongdaemun, featuring a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores, and restored parts of the Seoul fortress.

#AsiaTravelRecord Mina Perhonen is a brand that started in 1995 and has gained popularity in Japan and its own unique style. Designer Akira Minagawa is extremely popular in Taiwan and elsewhere. The first exhibition in Seoul, Korea, "minä perhonen design journey: the circle of memory" is being held at the DDP Dongdaemun Design Plaza, designed by Zaha Hadid. The exhibition was also held in Japan, but after exhibitions in Japan and Europe, it has been further enhanced and the brand's philosophy and ideas are expressed in each booth. It was a shopping trip with sisters to Seoul, Korea. We started our trip at Insadong, a bustling neighborhood blending modern and traditional elements. Insadong’s main street is lined with art galleries, antique shops, and craft stores selling ceramics, handmade paper📄 , and local teas 🍵 . It’s the perfect place to grab souvenirs, but what made it memorable was the photo ops 📸 We explored Ssamziegil, a colorful, open-air shopping complex with unique architecture where you can capture vibrant, quirky shots from the various floors and rooftop garden. 📍44 Insadong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul A must-visit for anyone in Seoul, Myeongdong is a shopping paradise with countless stores and brand outlets on both sides of the street. We visited in the afternoon to catch the vibrant crowd and colorful 🌈 displays, but evening is also ideal as the lights add a magical glow to the area. It’s the ultimate destination for skincare and cosmetics, where brands like Innisfree, Etude House, and Laneige all have flagship stores. We also tried various street foods like the delicious hotteok and tteokbokki, adding a savory taste to our shopping adventure. You’ll want to snap some shots 📸 with the lively street vendors and the neon-lit storefronts! 📍Myeongdong-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul We also explored Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), which is more than just a shopping location! It’s an architectural marvel. Known for its futuristic design by Zaha Hadid, the DDP is perfect for creative photoshoots. We recommend visiting in the late afternoon and staying until evening when the LED roses light up the plaza, creating a romantic and surreal vibe. DDP is home to fashion shops, exhibitions, and markets. The LED rose garden, especially, is breathtaking and a great backdrop for unforgettable photos 📸 📍281 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul Lastly, we also visited Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong, a trendy neighborhood with picturesque, tree-lined 🌳 streets and stylish boutiques. Here, we found international brands and unique, high-end Korean fashion labels. Dongdaemun is one of the many places to shop in Seoul and it’s the place to go to if you are looking for late night shopping. Most of the shops only open after sundown and are in business through the night. We arrived at 530 pm and luckily found a shop selling accessories ( with three levels) and spent nearly two hours inside before dinner and late night shopping began. We even had the chance to watch the light show on the facade of the DDP which was on display every 30 minutes from 7pm. Although it only lasted for about 10 minutes, it was an enjoyable experience to watch. ##seoul ##dongdaemun ##Funtodo ##southkorean
