Amazing escape from cities at Doubletree Damai Laut. Everything was just amazing ❤️ Beach is beautiful. Kids pool are fun and great ! The best part is, many toys and even PS4 are available here! The surrounding were vibrant and at times the kids will enjoy movies time at the kids cinema. During the weekend there will be extra activities for the kids but needed to pay extra fees for that. Kids definitely enjoy their time here!

Kid's Club @ Doubletree by Hilton Damai Laut Highlight - Its open from 10.00 am till 6.00 pm. The club is fully stocked with pretend play toys and different segment like kid's mart, cafe, police lock up, cinema, PS4 and etc. There are 4 PS4 with two controller eacg with a good selection of non-violent age appropriate games. This hidden gem is definitely worth visiting! The DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut is right next to Pangkor Island. It has access it it’s own private beach with so many water activities The hotel is built in such a way that you don’t have to leave. The food and kids club caters to all your needs. The swimming pools are a mini waterpark which have different ages access. I’d highly recommend visiting this hotel if you looking for a Mini Vacay but don’t wish to travel to far. Superb professional service by Manager name Mr Herman Idris! Thank you for made me & family feels welcome. We booked for three rooms, all room is good clean & spacious. Housekeeping Team also friendly, name Mr Charlie & Ms Azi. The breakfast buffet spread & dinner is good although the Makan Kitchen is full house but service is still top notch from the Manager Mr Ikhwan, Restaurant team Mr Baha, Shahrul, Ashwin & trainee name Ms Yee and also the General Manager is around. Here they have 5 pools & kids club (need wear a socks) makes my kids very happy & excited, a great private beach with a nice view also got some activities and we tried the ATV, football, banana boat and also got boats to Pangkors Island. Our luck stays on second nights got a fireworks before having our dinner at the Makan Kitchen Restaurant. Not forgot to mentioned the reception upon check out, Zamri & Linda, concierge and also a malay guy security is very helpful sorry didn’t get his name. Went for 1 night stay at Double Tree by Hilton Damai Laut after back from Pangkor Island.Loved the nature,the beauty of the view and amazing Damai Laut.very peaceful and relaxing.The room is big,clean and hygiene.Swimming pool quite big and have water games for children age from 5 to 10 years old.Really enjoy stay here.Highly recommended

A newly refurbished resort in Lumut. Travelling from KL takes about 3 hours, via the new highway. Hotel is quite secluded from town. It has everything that kids love, huge water park and beach! Kids club opens until 9pm on weekends, a huge plus point as pool is closed at night. Also has fireworks at 8pm during weekend. Seawater is not crystal clear, but sufficient for kids to enjoy sandcastle building. Also has ATV riding at affordable cost. Buffet variety is ok but need to improve on sanitation as lots of flies at the buffet restaurant. Food prices in room service is around RM 30-50, burger set for kids tasted little salty. overall great place to relax, especially with family!

It just launched on September 15, 2023, and we were already there on September 27 to check it out—Kiasu mode on! 🤣 The moment we stepped in, the vibe was amazing—Very Good! 🏨 Excellent service — they even upgraded us for free to a sea-view suite, which made us so happy! 💦 Water Park Fun — Kids’ Paradise We were most excited about their water park, and it didn’t disappoint! 🌈 There are 8 water slides for both kids and adults to enjoy. 🪣 5 giant splash buckets keep the excitement going. 💦 The pool area is divided into 5 zones, including 3 children’s pools (2 with slides) and a huge adult swimming pool, all designed naturally and comfortably. 🏖️ Great Beach Experience Walk down the stairs from the pool and you’ll reach the natural beach! 🦀 On the left side, you’ll find small crabs and marine life, and even locals catching little sea creatures. But be careful—jellyfish may appear in the shallow areas, so be extra cautious, especially with kids! 🌴 On the right side, there are coconut umbrellas and lounge chairs, perfect for lying down all afternoon doing nothing—and the photo ops are amazing! 🚤 Water Activities Available There’s a small booth by the beach where you can book water activities like banana boats, canoes, snorkeling, and more—super fun and varied! #staycation

📍 Doubletree Hilton Damai Laut Resort We always want to avoid the crowd. Since the school holidays are just around the corner, we had a short escape to Damai Laut (instead of Pangkor because it was just over the weekend trip so we skipped the hassle to board on a ferry to Pangkor) As we went there not on hot dates (normal weekends), we got the best price with free breakfast for 2 adults, kids below 5 eat for free! I have nothing to complain about staying at Doubletree Hilton Damai Laut Resort. They got this huge perfect kids pool with slides, big bucket splash, kids and adults pools. They also have access to private beach which we can choose all kinds of watersports activities like bananaboat, kayak, jetski, atv/buggy atv (3 people) with affordable prices! Not to mention I saw people enjoy fishing too, so bring along your fishing rod! Breakfast buffet was good but dinner buffet was a bit too expensive for me, RM128/adult. Fret not, you can order food from Grab! Had a pleasant weekend to relax, unwind and recharge!❤️ 💡 Tips Book the hotel on Trip.com to collect coins! Spending 2days at double tree hilton damai laut was amazing. The view ,the room ,the swimming the breakfast and services is the bestttt ever👌🏻👌🏻

Easily half an hour drive from the peaceful town, limited food choices sadly, hotel food ain’t delicious either, relatively still well maintained though after all Downside is super many flies, I saw more flies than guests, kinda sad Kids pools are good, clean rooms are however quite small Reasonably priced, will come back again next time with much better deals!

I am looking for a chill and relax CNY holidays and this DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut has come to my attention. The hotel located at Lumut, about 3hours driving time from Kualal Lumpur. The hotel is under umbrella of Hilton, hence everything is up to Hilton standard. Firstly, warm welcome by the check in counter with their famous cookies. My room was upgraded and able to have part of the seaview. We have the afternoon tea at the Axis lounge and Chef Jay is very attentive and helpful. Dinner at the Makan Kitchen where they serve the CNY feature buffet. The salted egg prawns are very delicious! The bonus point is we able to watch the fireworks at the dinning hall. #newyearnewtrip Yes this is in Hilton Resort Damai Laut. It’s only 3 hours drive away from Kuala Lumpur. Going in a little bit more is Pangkor Island. Booked this resort for my son’s 3rd birthday, he enjoyed the treat. Swimming pool is like a theme park here, if you have family with young kids, it’s perfect for you and your family. Then down the hill is Hilton’s private beach and you can swim there too. While here, better get stay with buffet breakfast because nearest restaurant is few kilometres away. Worry not, Hilton offers yummy meals!
