Really enjoyed my stay at GBW!! It is my first time staying at GBW and I am really impressed by the service I had received. #johorbahrutrip My stay at GBW Hotel in Johor Bahru was smooth and relaxing. The location is fantastic—close to JB Sentral and the city’s main attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice city view. I especially loved the big pool and the breakfast buffet which offered a good mix of local and Western options. The staff were attentive and helpful, even helping me arrange transport to Singapore. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it gives great value for money, and the warmth of the service made it feel like a home away from home.

Found this fascinating hawker centre called 大时代near to Hotel Grand Blue Wave with so many stalls selling food like bak kut tei, salmon and avocado poke rice, yong tau fu, watercress soup, ayam penyet, Penang cha kuay tiao, BBQ stingray. Well! You name it, most probably you will get it! There was also a stage for live performance and a big screen showing a football match. The ambience was delightful and the place was airy with such a big fan on top that you will not smell of oil and smoke after feasting. ##大时代

View from hotel room .. free shuttle to mid valley and early check in for no extra charge.. also got free upgrade but the room is abit old but overall is ok .. Breakfast at rm28 .. not bad A big food centre within walking distance . Can get lots of foods and cheap beers 🍺🍺 Need collect daily new password for wifi ..so that can have fast wifi Gym need to be upgrade.. most of the equipment are too old and not in use.

The hotel is located opposite R&F Plaza, next to the Johor Bahru Checkpoint, and there is a food court nearby at night. It is a very convenient hotel for travelers who travel to and from Singapore for a day. The breakfast is Malaysian style. The hotel facilities are relatively old and nothing special, but the rooms are spacious.

My second visit to this hotel. The hotel rooms are clean and they gave me connecting rooms as requested. The staff are friendly and kind as they attended to my queries and concerns with promptly. However, there are some minor shortcomings like the tap was not securely fasten in place and the toilet paper holder was broken. Not a big deal and I still really enjoyed the spacious room and aircon. Something to note is that you would need to get a new wifi password every 24hrs. The ambience is great and the restaurant is able to accommodate more than hundreds of people. There are local dishes such as the nasi lemak with their sweet and tasty sambal sauce to go with it. Their western selection is decent with scrambled egg that is somehow very dry. I love their big swimming pool and gym within the hotel. The pool is spacious and the water is not too cold. The gym is more of weighing lifting machines and training your muscles. #bucketlistreboot

You have to take a 20 minute walk to the city Square mall, or take a taxi to reach the ksl mall within a 10 minute ride. The balcony view is facing the immigration area. I stayed at the superior studio 49m2. The room comes with a kitchen with a microwave and a cooking stove. There is even a dining table for a group of four to dine in. The bed is comfortable and soft. There are local, Singapore, and international channels. The carpeted floor of the room makes it comfortable to walk on. #bucketlistreboot

Price per Person - rm160+ Rating - 4star It was an enjoying moment during our stay here.we got studio twin room with such nice view of ciq building n part of seaview.we went to pool at evening.quite number of people but it was manageable.we having dinner at night the food was really nice especially the mutton soup.so refreshing despite having longer times to be prepared but it was worth it.and also the bento was delicious and the portion quite big but we managed to finish it😋. The breakfast also quite number of people but it was also manageable.food was good especially the croissant n baked potato. We plan to stay again in future.it was great moment here n u will not regret.#
