It is a space where you can feel the artistic sense in the modern design. These days, the Shutaddeul Book Culture series is overflowing with unique energy from the entrance. On the way out of the exhibition, I was impressed again at the gift shop. The limited edition goods produced with the Shutaddeul Book Culture theme were really sensational. There were many small props such as notebooks, postcards, and candles, so it was fun to look around.

This exhibition showcases the story of the LP album design group that dominated the music scene from the 1960s to the 1980s. This exhibition tells the story of the 'Hipgnosis' studio, which produced unique album covers at that time, through their works. HIPGNOSIS is a combination of the word 'HIP', which means cool, and 'GNOSTIC', which means wise, and it means a hip and intelligent existence. The meaning itself is really cool. In the 60s, there was no Photoshop, so all works were actually processed by hand. At the Hipnosis exhibition, I was able to see the process of creating LP album covers and how they overcame and accepted numerous trials and errors, and their life journey. It would be a good time to look at the unique works and think about what meaning each piece contains, and it would also be a good time to share opinions while on a date. In order to succeed, it is important to look ahead to the future and adapt to the rapidly changing times by following the trends. I looked at the lives of two young designers from Hipnosis, an up-and-coming studio in the 1960s and 1980s, and seriously thought about how to adapt and accept the changing times. The artist used to work in Europe, but he currently lives in Japan and paints. Thanks to him, we were able to see paintings of various landscapes and themes. 🙃 I liked the city landscape, nature, and clean painting style. It definitely feels trendy because he's an active artist. 🙆‍♀️ I went on Sunday, but there were few visitors, so it was very comfortable. The route and the number of works were appropriate, so it wasn't crowded or disappointing.
