Please come to Xi'an and stay in this affordable hotel
The hotel is located on the bank of the Haihe River. The exterior of the building is very beautiful and has a sense of design. The most eye-catching feature should be the large chandelier in the atrium. Its shape is as dazzling as a super star explosion, and the huge glass curtain walls with 10 floors on both sides are very likely to trigger gigantic phobia when tiny humans walk under it.
.
But this is not actually a hotel lobby. This large space is not yet functional.
.
It's really far from the city, and the road to the entrance is quite roundabout, but the hotel's concierge is good.
.
The suite we stayed in this time ended with number 40. It was an irregular unit at the end of the corridor. The only view was a construction site, and even Chow Tai Fook's golden cudgel could not be seen. If you are upgrading to an executive river view room, you must not get this one.
.
The suite is nominally 80-100 square meters, and according to the usual habit of exaggerating the size, it is definitely not that big. The actual size is about 60 square meters. The layout and decoration style are very similar to the Zhengzhou InterContinental, both of which are simple business style with gray tones and little decoration. The entrance hall is quite large, and it can be said that a lot of space is wasted. The guest bathroom on the left is equipped with a PG mini basin and Toto washlet. The space is small, and you need to close the door to barely squat. There is no hand sanitizer or soap, which is a bit inappropriate.
.
Walking forward, there is the main bathroom on the left, and an independent cloakroom with a full-length mirror on the right.
.
The layout of the living room is relatively compact, with a 4+1 sofa set matched with a small coffee table, and a small round table by the window serving as a desk.
.
The minibar has a capsule coffee machine with 4 unofficial capsules, a Delonghi retro green kettle, and the tea bags are Twinings Large Leaf Platinum. I was given 8 bags, which is very good. Free Pure Water. The small refrigerator should not be free, and it is not mentioned on the executive courtesy list.
.
The welcome gift was quite generous, including red wine, a large fruit plate, specialty soda and cookies. Since this place didn't have its own doll, they gave a toiletries bag which was nice. To be honest, except for being stingy with room upgrades for members, other benefits are very adequate, and the whole service is also quite good, including making the night bed, and taking care of all the details. The room service response time is within 10 minutes, and the execution is accurate enough. These are very much in line with Intercontinental standards.
.
Due to the area, there is no bench at the end of the bed in the bedroom. There is a reclining chair by the window, and it is connected to the living room by double sliding doors. The master bathroom is relatively spacious, with a large round bathtub with bath salts and double basins, but the hair dryer is not a Dyson.
.
The shower room has a footstool, good space, a large overhead shower, plenty of hot water, and the Byredo white romance toiletries have an average scent, but the feel is trustworthy. The master bathroom is also Toto, but the mobile phone shelf is smaller, so be careful not to let your phone slip when you put it on the shelf.
.
Overall, although this suite has no view and lacks detailed design, the hardware configuration is good and the maintenance level is OK. No hygiene problems were found. The air conditioner blowing directly at the desk was a bit uncomfortable, but everything else was OK.
