Thai buffet
After living in Thailand for a while, you'll find that Thai people are basically carnivores! It's not easy to find a few vegetables among all the Thai dishes~😌
That's why a "Thai buffet" with a wide variety of dishes is not only satisfying, but also friendly to your wallet...
"Jeh Jong Moo Tod" is a very popular chain buffet restaurant in Bangkok. Their fried pork is the signature dish, freshly made every day, with a rich meaty aroma. It's super delicious with fried garlic!
Although Jeh Jong Moo Tod has many branches, only the main store on Rama 4 Road offers more than 30 dishes every day, so there's always a long line at the door from 5 or 6 am.
There are three ways to order in the store: bag (takeaway, from THB 27 per item / without rice, from THB 32 per item), box (takeaway, from THB 39 per item), and plate (dine-in, from THB 32 per item). A few dishes are priced separately!
I ordered the signature fried pork, garlic and salt chicken, stir-fried cabbage, boiled egg, and free lettuce, cucumber, and fried garlic. The whole plate was only THB 60, and every dish was delicious. If you want to eat here, just order whatever you want!
How to get there: Take the MRT to Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Station, exit from Exit 1, and walk for about 18 minutes, or take a taxi.
