Jiayingguan, located 12 kilometers southeast of Wuzhi County in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, was built in 1723 during the Qing Dynasty by Emperor Yongzheng. It serves as a palace, temple, and government office, constructed to control Yellow River floods and honor the Dragon King. Known as the "Small Forbidden City in Henan" due to its architectural grandeur resembling the Forbidden City, it is a significant Qing Dynasty building complex. Jiayingguan features over 100 palace-style halls, with intricate stone carvings and imperial edicts. It commemorates river management heroes like Dayu and Lin Zexu, with life-size statues in the Yuwang Pavilion.
