I ate very full every day on the cruise... I'm such a person with a bad stomach actually didn't feel any discomfort at all, but when I got home to eat at home, I started to have a stomachache😂 Probably too anxious at work😭 📸 Main restaurant: The third floor is "My Time + Reservation", you can book any time, I booked 6:30pm. Tables on the third floor may be changed daily, with fixed times (4:45, 6:15, 7:45) and fixed locations on the fourth floor. Before 12 o'clock on the first day, I went to the door of the restaurant on the third floor to make an appointment. There was basically no one. 🍚 The first night the main restaurant is super full, but if you have a reservation basically do not have to wait, a few minutes can be seated. Then a few days 6:30pm to basic no need to queue. After more than six years, Disney Adventure finally departed Wismar for the first and final time. The ship set sail around 6:30 p.m. local time on Monday evening, amidst the rain. Locals gathered in the harbor to watch and cheer as the ship's horn sounded. 🎉 She is currently undergoing sea trials, which will continue until Tuesday evening. 🕙 She will then refuel in Mukran, Germany. Due to draft restrictions, she will be able to refuel only to a limited extent, and a brief stop in Skagen is also planned. 🗓️The ship will then proceed to Bremerhaven for further work. The arrival date is currently scheduled for September 20th in Eemshaven, Netherlands, but this date is subject to change. Just got off the ship, and while the memories are still fresh, here’s a summary of our first experience on the Disney Dream cruise! 🏠 Stay｜Balcony Room = A Must! We booked a discounted balcony room, assigned on the 7th floor at the stern near the elevator, very convenient for coming and going. They say the middle of the ship is more stable, but aside from the engine vibrations being noticeable the first night, it was overall very smooth. Housekeeping service was excellent, cleaning at least twice daily. A small downside was a mix of dampness and old furniture smell in the room; sensitive noses might want to bring their own fragrance or freshening spray. 🍽️ Eat｜Quality is On Point, But Minor Flaws Exist Breakfast was at the buffet with a wide variety, but quite crowded. We recommend going off-peak for a more relaxed experience. Dinner rotated among three main dining rooms, with a mature system and high efficiency, but the atmosphere felt a bit like a fancy cafeteria, lacking some ceremony. We were seated with another childfree couple, and the conversation got awkward, some of us felt uncomfortable 😅 If you want a quiet meal, we suggest ordering room service and enjoying dinner on the balcony, watching the sunset and zoning out—super healing~ 🌴 Explore｜Island Visits and Unexpected Surprises The first stop was Disney’s private island, Lighthouse Point. Highly recommend the adult beach! Fine sand, clear water, and few people. We even saw a stingray swim by! No need to book paid activities, which made it more relaxing. The May weather was perfect for dipping in the water. The second stop was Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. Honestly, it was a bit dull; we suggest spending no more than an hour before heading back to the ship. The only highlight was the Starbucks at the port, where we got a previous generation city mug ☕ 🎭 Play｜Shows + Movies = Must-See! The cruise shows were top-notch. We watched "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Golden Mickeys," both fantastic! There was also a movie theater showing PG-rated new releases all day, perfect for cooling off and relaxing in the afternoon. Character meet & greets were casual for us, but if you want photos, lining up as scheduled isn’t too hard. The Farewell Show on the last night was a perfect photo op, with all characters appearing at once—plenty of chances to snap pics! 💬 Summary: Disney Dream really feels like a dream! The dream Disney cruise trip has come to a perfect end 🎉 I really don’t want to get off the ship… the afterglow is just too powerful! Whether you’re a Disney fan or not, after a few days on board, you can’t help but be infected by that joyful atmosphere~ When I got off the ship, I was humming Let It Go with a big smile on my face. If you didn’t get an early time slot, don’t give up. Keep refreshing and you might get an earlier boarding time! On the day of boarding, it’s recommended to arrive at least 1 hour early because: • There will be queues at the parking lot • Luggage check-in, security, and processing take time Although the whole process is smooth, don’t cut it too close! 2️⃣ The first thing to do after boarding isn’t changing into your swimsuit, it’s ordering the Room Service Mickey Bar! 🍦 A secret tip from foreign bloggers: the Mickey ice cream is a hidden menu item, limited in quantity, and only available on the first day! Though it’s just a chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream, as a limited “free Mickey ice cream,” it’s a perfect way to kick off the trip with a sense of ceremony! 3️⃣ Door stickers & small gift exchanges: there really is magic ✨ We didn’t plan to join at first, but after realizing our room was near the elevator, we joined last minute and unexpectedly received a return gift from the staff 🎁 — super surprising! We prepared over 70 small gifts, hoping to “go door-to-door” to give to doors with decorations we liked, but found it wasn’t nearly enough!
