Leshan Giant Buddha
A journey into the heart of spirituality: the Leshan Giant Buddha left me awestruck with its towering presence carved into the red cliffs where rivers meet. Its serene expression, weathered yet timeless, radiates peace while the vast folds of stone robes speak of devotion and artistry. As I descended to its colossal feet, I felt both humbled and uplifted, surrounded by lush hills and flowing waters that frame this sacred masterpiece. The Buddha stands not just as a monument, but as a living reminder of faith, patience, and harmony between humanity and nature.

Chengdu Leshan Giant Buddha and Huanglongxi One-Day Tour
#Sign up for June hotel test sleeper
The weather in Chengdu is hot in June. In the morning, put on light and comfortable clothes, bring an umbrella, sun hat, water and other equipment, and board the tour bus to the Leshan Giant Buddha.
I joined a trip.com tour. The tour leader explained the things to pay attention to that day. When we arrived at the scenic spot, the tour guide led us and told us the history of the scenic spot along the way. Although it was a bit tiring, I was able to appreciate the historical scenes and beautiful scenery, and take beautiful pictures. I felt that the whole day's hard work was worth it.
Another attraction that day was Huanglong Creek, where local residents and tourists were happily playing in the water. I took photos of this joyful scene, which became one of the beautiful memories of my trip.
