Recommend the four most worthwhile buildings: Liangzhu Museum - Liangzhu Culture and Art Center (Big Roof) - Meilizhou Church - National Library of China [Clover] Liangzhu Museum First we came to the Liangzhu Museum, designed by David Chipperfield and inspired by the "Jade Cong". The jade Cong, which is square outside and round inside, is the highest-level ritual vessel used for offering sacrifices to heaven in ancient China. The main body of the building is composed of four inclined cubes, and the facade is made of yellowish-brown stone, echoing the warm texture of Liangzhu jade. The Kingdom of Dian used a variety of jade materials, with unique local features such as non-concentric jade rings, flanged bracelets (i.e., jade rings with collars), and copper buckles inlaid with jade pieces. The flanged bracelets and jade pieces with dragon patterns on the jade burial suits are evidence of cultural exchange between the Kingdom of Dian and the Central Plains.
