[2025 TT. Nam Ban Attraction] Travel Guide for Linh An Pagoda (Updated May)

#vietnam Linh Ẩn Tự is a beautiful temple located in the Nam Ban town of Lâm Hà district, Lâm Đồng province, Vietnam. It is also known as Linh Ẩn Tự Đà Lạt and is one of the most famous temples in Đà Lạt city. The temple is situated approximately 27 kilometers away from the city center and can be reached by following the road from Thác Cam ly to đèo Tà Nung and then to Nam Ban town. Linh Ẩn Tự is renowned for its stunning architecture and serene surroundings. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting both local and international visitors every year. The temple offers breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty, including the majestic Thác Voi waterfall. One of the main attractions of Linh Ẩn Tự is its giant statue of Quan Âm, also known as the Goddess of Mercy. This statue is considered to be the largest Quan Âm statue in Vietnam. The temple’s tranquil atmosphere and spiritual significance make it an ideal place for meditation and reflection.

#vietnamtrip Our plan was to see Thác Voi và chùa Linh Ẩn, or Elephant Falls and the Linh An pagoda, but unfortunately after a short walk from where the city bus lets you off, the gates to the waterfalls were closed. A sign read that they were closed until further announcement. We walked to the pagoda, and down from that level, you can walk and get a better view of the waterfall. The pagoda and surrounding grounds are quite lovely, serene and peaceful.

If you take the mint-colored bus or the orange bus number 11 with PHI LIENG written on it at the city bus stop, you'll arrive in one go. Even if you don't understand the language, if you show me a picture of a big Buddha statue on Google Maps, If you go down below the Buddha statue, there's also an elephant waterfall and a coffee farm, so it's good to look around together. Since there aren't many people, it's good to sit and rest, and if you go near the waterfall, you can enjoy the cool breeze for a while. The temple itself isn't particularly special, but it just has a big Buddha statue..^^
