Super detailed Huzhou Dragon Dream parent-child travel guide, with two children version (easy to handle)
🐾I took my two kids to Huzhou Dragon Dream on the weekend and stayed at Happy World Hotel. The experience was great. Let me share our itinerary with you so you can follow it and avoid any mishaps!
🏨【Hotel selection】
Happy World Hotel is in a great location, right in the center of Dragon Dream Park. It’s only about a 5-minute walk to several major amusement parks. It’s very friendly to families with children, as they can go back to the hotel to rest anytime when they are tired of playing. The room is decorated with cute ocean pet themes. The baby was so excited when he entered the room because there were many cute ocean decorations.
🗺️【Itinerary】
Day 1:
We arrived at the hotel at 2pm to check in, put our luggage away and headed straight to the Ice and Snow World. The temperature inside is low, so remember to prepare thick coats for the babies in advance. 🧥 As soon as we entered, we saw the ice rink. The eldest baby couldn't wait to go skating, and the second baby was staring at us with his eyes wide open. Walking further in, we saw the cute little penguins 🐧. They looked so adorable while swaying, and the children were so attracted that they couldn’t take their eyes away.
After coming out of the Ice and Snow World, we went to have dinner. Because my second baby is still young and has limited energy, I went back to the hotel to rest for a while. At the appointed time, we went to Dragon Dream International Circus City. This circus performance was truly stunning, with lights, sound effects, acrobatics, magic, and all kinds of wonderful shows taking turns. I strongly recommend that if there is a seat in the first row of the middle corridor, you must sit here. There will be a lot of interactive sessions. Dabao was invited to the stage to participate in the performance and was very excited.
Day 2:
After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we went to the zoo. The zoo has an animal science time, where staff will explain in detail the animals' living habits, eating habits, etc. The children listen very carefully, and they can both have fun and learn knowledge. You must take the small train in the park. You can feed the animals along the way. The deer and alpacas are super cute and will come to the window to eat the food. Parents with young babies, please remember to bring your own thermos and hot water. Although there are places selling water in the park, it is more convenient to bring your own so that you can give your baby water of the right temperature at any time.
🎫【Ticket Recommendations】
You can check in advance on major travel platforms to see if there are any package tickets, which will be much more cost-effective than buying tickets individually. We bought a package that included hotel accommodation, tickets to the Ice and Snow World, the Circus and the Zoo, which was very cost-effective.
🍔【Food Recommendation】
There are many restaurants near the hotel. We tried several local specialties, such as steamed whitebait with egg and Taihu white shrimp. They all tasted very good and the children loved them too. If you don't want to go out to eat, the hotel's restaurant has many choices and the taste is pretty good.
