[Fukuoka] Tateishiyama
#0yentripnovember
There is a mountain in Itoshima called Tateishiyama, and even from the bottom you can see a lot of rocks rolling around on the mountainside! And from the top, you can see a spectacular view of Itoshima and take a commemorative photo with the rocks!
When climbing the rocks, there are some high places, so please be especially careful with small children!
The parking lot is in the middle of the mountain, and from there you can walk up the mountain path! There are some steep places along the way where you have to use a rope to climb, but the view from the top is spectacular, so please go and check it out! !

📍Recommended attractions:
Fukuoka Itoshima and Itoshima Tateishiyama are a niche tourist destination around Fukuoka. It is a place where many tourists come here. It is a small Hawaiian resort for locals. The white torii gates on the beach can be said to be real. It’s very Fukuoka haha. This is the first time I’ve seen the Japanese torii gate and beach. Itoshima is a relatively small island, and few foreign tourists know about it. Most people from Fukuoka go there.
Some features:
Itoshima is right next to Fukuoka, with the white torii gate of the Futamiura couple rock ⛩️ and Tateishiyama ⛰️ a photo and check-in spot where Internet celebrities check in. At a glance, you can see the boundless sea and beach 🏖️ and scenery, as well as coffee and food. Sitting there for an afternoon and catching up on the sea is so healing and you can enjoy nature.
🚗Transportation to attractions:
From Fukuoka Shima Tateishan Transportation, first take the JR Chikuhi Line "Chikuzen Maehara (ちくぜんまえばる) Station" and get off and walk toward the north exit. Then take the "Showa Bus (Akuya (けや) Line)" from "Maehara Station North Exit" station to "Akuya" station, which takes about 26 minutes
If you want to climb up, starting from Akuya Beach, there are two entrances to the Tateishiyama Mountaineering Nature Trail. One is the "Hama side trailhead" of Mount Tateishi near the beach, and the second parking lot near the beach. It takes 40 minutes to walk from the beach trailhead, and there are mostly stone trails along the way, which makes it difficult to climb.
If you don’t want to climb the mountain, you can just stay on the beach to enjoy the summer and delicious food, and briefly take Itoshima to yourself~
💗Other tips:
It is recommended that you set off in the morning, as the sunset is relatively early and there are more people after 17:00. In addition, you should wear sun protection on the island.
