Upon arrival, I was struck by the grandeur of the old castle with its magnificent architecture and panoramic views of the stunning landscape. I wandered through the historic rooms decorated with ancient furniture and rare art paintings. I enjoyed walking through the beautiful gardens with terraces adorned with a variety of flowers and beautiful statues. I climbed up the surrounding hills for a stunning view of the Welsh countryside. Then walk down to the gardens, beautiful at the time of visit (late July) but I guess they would be fantastic at any time of the year! During the summer, garden games are enjoyed by young and not-so young visitors, with plenty of space for everybody to enjoy.
