I went to Dongdaemun's Naejang Gomtang (Giblets Gomtang)! 🎵 The restaurant was packed with Japanese customers from early in the morning. 😘 I chose the 16,000 won Naejang Gomtang (Giblets Gomtang). 😘 There were green onions, kimchi, and pickled vegetables on the table. It's a popular place for relaxation, picnics, strolls, and evenings. It's a great place to enjoy the changing leaves, as the trees aren't just yellow. You'll need to take the escalator down to the ground floor, and inside, you'll find a building with beautiful trees lining the walls. Who would have thought that Hongdae could have such beautiful autumn leaves? Pin Yeonnam-dong! This area is called the 𝐘𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 near Hongdae Station. Um, Exit 3, you'll be greeted by a row of ginkgo trees. These yellow leaves are blinding!💛 If you're visiting in early November, don't forget to stop by this corner. You won't be disappointed here! Plenty of chic and hip cafes. Lots of delicious restaurants, including salt bread and sogeum bread🍞. Afterwards, continue your shopping spree in Hongdae. #TravelChat Jogyesa Temple: Pray for good luck in your studies, exams, and success. A spiritual lover like me, how could I miss this? As soon as we entered Jogyesa Temple, the first thing we saw was a large white pine tree, over 10 meters tall, located beside the main hall (Daeungjeon). This pine tree is said to be 500 years old. Following this, we entered the main hall, where three large golden Buddha statues reside. Outside, there's also a seven-story pagoda carved from stone, perfect for capturing the atmosphere. The temple is peaceful, ancient, and evocative. People come to pray and make merit periodically, creating a sense of peace. You can find it at Pop Mart, but be prepared for long waiting times if you visit on weekends. The store features a variety of Pop Mart artist products, though many items might be sold out.

Exploring the alleys of Itaewon for the first time, I was captivated by the blend of street-side shops and exotic vibes—every snapshot felt like a postcard-worthy scene. For lunch, I chose the cold noodles at Danpoong House, a tangy and refreshing dish that slowed down the pace of a summer day. Next, I headed to Starfield Library, where being surrounded by layers upon layers of books felt like stepping into another world. At night, I returned to Hamilton Hotel, a convenient and comfortable retreat to wrap up the day's adventures. Seoul's fast-paced rhythm always seems to offer quiet moments in its hidden corners.

I recently stayed in this highly-rated hotel in Seoul. It's located above Chungmuro ​​Station, which is the next stop from Myeongdong. It's a 15-minute walk to the Myeongdong shopping district. It's also very convenient to get to the airport. You can take a few stops to Seoul Station and then the Airport Express. You can also take the airport bus right outside the hotel entrance. It's super convenient. ※ Room Facilities We had a double room (~HKD750/night) for one night and a triple room (~HKD1000/night) for another. However, the dimensions of both rooms were the same, so the triple room was quite cramped. There was a kitchenette with a microwave, a large refrigerator, and a few kitchen utensils. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, except for the sink, which wasn't inside. The lighting was also average, making it difficult for women to put on makeup. The TV had YouTube and Netflix, and the picture quality and sound system were both acceptable. ※ Hotel Services The check-in time was set at 3:00 PM. We arrived at 2:30 PM, but were able to check in a bit early at 2:45 PM. Free luggage lockers were available. ※ Hotel Facilities I knew waiting for the elevator would be a nightmare before checking in. 😈 There are so many units, so few elevators, and they're so small. The number of people who can fit in at any one time is limited. Luckily, I leave early and return late, and the floor is high enough, so it's okay. Overall, I think this hotel is okay, especially for the value.
