The Velodrome Stadium is the home stadium of Marseille, a famous French team. For the people of Marseille, the Marseille football team has become an undeniable part of the city's identity. Historically, the course has been rebuilt many times, the course has undergone many major renovations, as well as the installation of a canopy covering the course and an increase in the capacity of 7,000 seats, and plans to build and develop the entire area surrounding the course: hotels, student accommodation and Residential area, office building, shopping mall, etc. The current owner of the stadium, Olympique de Marseille, is a French team that has won the Champions League. And their history in domestic competitions is even more brilliant, with 9 Ligue 1 trophies and 10 French Cups rewarding fans across the country. Crazy fans and deep heritage have made the Velodrome the center of football culture in the south of France. Tour includes: football pitch, pitchside facilities, boxes, press room, locker room.

🇫🇷Why I liked Marseille in the South of France in the summer🇫🇷
#FebruaryTravelSupportEvent
I suddenly remembered my trip to the South of France last summer. I had no time to spare because I had planned to travel all the way to Paris. However, in the South of France, there was nothing set in stone except for soccer, and I decided where to go almost spontaneously, so I was able to travel leisurely. I liked it better because I didn't wear makeup and felt like a local☺️ In particular, Marseille was a memorable city because it wasn't as scary as I had worried about, and everyone lived happily, which was typical of the South of France.
1. I ate Southern French cuisine at Restaurant Le relais 50 in front of the old port of Marseille, and the bisque was really delicious✨
2. I wanted to eat flat peaches, so I went to buy flat peaches. The streets of Marseille were really pretty, so I was excited. 3. Take the mini train up to Notre Dame at Les Petits Trains de Marseille
4. Watch the Egypt vs. Paraguay soccer match at the Marseille Stadium wearing a French T-shirt
5. The best thing about Marseille, Ballon des Joffes🫶🏽
6. The sunset I saw every day at the old port🌅
How great would it be if I could go to the South of France again - If you're planning a trip to the South of France in the summer, Marseille is a must.🇫🇷

Time to visit Marseille
Despite being the second most populous city in France after Paris, Marseille is not usually on most travellers' list of must-visit cities in France. However, this oldest city in France, founded circa 600 BC, has some characters that make a visit worthwhile.
One might visit the city to watch the local team, Olympique de Marseille play in the Stade Vélodrome (or Orange Vélodrome) or come for the smell you can find in the Savon de Marseille (traditional hard soap made from vegetable oils that has been produced here for 600 years). However, some might also treat this as a gateway to the famous region of Provence!
I certainly love the smell of Provence and Marseille soap, but not the Pieds paquets (stewed sheep's feet and stuffed sheep's tripe). I am sorry. :(
