[2025 Tokyo Stay] Travel Guide for Oshiage (Updated May)

During my stay at the Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole, I had the opportunity to visit 'Sizzler Oshiage' for a buffet breakfast. The restaurant features a warm orange color scheme, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. One of its biggest attractions, aside from the view of the Tokyo Skytree right outside the window, is the daily changing menu, including the chef's special desserts that vary every day! The breakfast is a buffet style, mainly offering Japanese and Western dishes. There are Japanese steamed, boiled, grilled, and pickled items, Western-style salads, and freshly made desserts like apple pie and pancakes. The variety is quite impressive, and the breakfast is filling enough to last until noon. For lunch and dinner, they offer a semi-buffet style, which includes a main dish plus a salad bar. I highly recommend the Japanese-Western style hamburger steak, which is very tender and juicy, and comes with four different sauces for a rich variety of flavors. The salad bar is even more abundant than at breakfast, featuring curry, soup, pasta, and more. You could easily fill up just from the salad bar. Sizzler Oshiage is located on the fifth floor of the hotel. It's conveniently situated right across from Oshiage Station on the Hanzomon Line, in the same building as the Life supermarket, making it easy to visit the Tokyo Skytree shopping mall as well. Both were incredible! The pancakes were fluffy and soft, and the sausage and eggs were cooked to perfection—definitely satisfying and filling!
