#樱花2024 For the first time, I traveled thousands of miles to the land of cherry blossoms to admire the charming cherry blossoms 🌸. Before departure, always pay attention to the weather forecast for the cherry blossom blooming date. It is estimated that the blooming date in Tokyo has been postponed from the original March 17th. However, I had already bought a flight ticket for March 17th, and the cost of rescheduling was high, so I set off as scheduled. We arrived at Haneda Airport at 10:25 pm. There was a huge crowd of people entering the airport, probably all of them were here to see the cherry blossoms. We waited in line for almost an hour to complete the entry procedures. As a result, I missed the Keikyu Line train and had to take a super expensive taxi to the hotel.
The next morning, we went to Sensoji Temple for a walk and a look. Wow, there were so many tourists and it was very crowded. It required very high skills to take beautiful photos. Along the way, we walked slowly from the direction of Azuma Bridge to Sumida Park. The wind was strong and cold on the road, and we really didn't want to move, but in order to see the cherry blossoms, we continued to move forward. However, Sumida Park in Sumida Ward is bare, with only one or two cherry trees having a few pink flowers, and many are still unopened buds. After taking a few photos, we walked towards Sumida Park on the Asakusa side. There were very few flowers, but fortunately there were still three cherry trees in bloom (probably Kawazu cherry trees). Everyone was queuing up to take pictures, so we hurried to line up too.
On the third day, we went to Disneyland, where there were two cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
On the fourth day, we went to Ueno Onshi Park. Cherry Blossom Avenue and Shinobazu Park were both bare, so we could only return with a sigh. Then we went to Meguro River. The large area of cherry blossom scenery that we saw on the Internet could only be seen on the Internet. In the end, we returned disappointed, and we also encountered strong winds and heavy rain!
On the fifth day, I went to Shiba Park and Tokyo Tower 🗼 to take photos, and was lucky enough to see two white cherry blossoms 🌸. So I quickly took a few photos as a souvenir.
After breakfast on the sixth day, I took the Keikyu Line to Haneda Airport to return home.
Summary: The weather is cold today, and the protagonist Yoshino Sakura is still in her third month of pregnancy, so there is still some time before she gives birth. The cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo this time was not satisfactory. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't see the beautiful cherry blossoms everywhere. However, I saw that the streets of Tokyo were very clean and the hotel service was quite good, so it was a good experience.
