Getting There - This temple is strategically located in proximity to the most famous Angkor Wat Temple. Since this is one of the few temples that opens at 5 in the morning we went to explore this temple directly after watching the sunset at the Northern Reflexion pound of Angkor Wat. The walk up to the temple takes between 10-20 minutes depending on your fitness level. This is a great place to watch the sunset if you go to Angkor Wat for 1 day. The 1-day ticket costs 37 dollars. I recommend buying the ticket the day before at 4 pm onwards because you can go see the sunset on the day you buy the ticket. ***The place to buy the ticket is different from this area and you have to take a photo to print the ticket. It's similar to making an ID card. The process of making the card is not long because there are many ticket counters. When it's your turn, stand and take a photo, pay, and receive the ticket. So when you buy the ticket, hurry straight to Phnom Bak Kheng.
