📍Armeria Square
Armeria Square in Madrid, Spain is a great viewpoint overlooking the Madrid skyline. When I traveled to Europe 7 years ago, this square was open until sunset so I could see the sunset, but in June 2023, the square was closed around 9 pm so I couldn't see the sunset. However, since you can see the Madrid skyline, it would be great to go during the day.
There are also buskers in the square so it's great to listen to live music!
If you're traveling in Madrid, go to Armeria Square 💙

The Plaza de la Armería in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid is impressive for its magnificent architecture and historical atmosphere.
It was a special experience to be able to see the guard changing ceremony in person, and I was amazed to be able to take in the Royal Palace and Cathedral at a glance from the wide square. The sunlight reflecting on the marble floor was beautiful, and the antique buildings surrounding the square made me feel like I was traveling through time.
Although there are many tourists, it is good for taking a leisurely walk and taking pictures thanks to the ample space. It is one of the must-see attractions when you come to Madrid.

I visited the Plaza de Armera during my trip to Madrid, Spain.
It is located between the Royal Palace of Madrid and the Cathedral of Almudena. To get to the palace and cathedral, you have to wait in line at the square, so there was a long line of tourists.
The square in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid was magnificent and beautiful. The line gets incredibly long around 3pm, so I recommend that you enter early.
