#TripFamily Outing 📍Taoyuan Puxin Ranch Family Day Trip — Memories of growing up amidst the laughter of the grasslands
#trip Every child deserves a chance to talk to animals and roll around in the grass during their childhood. This time, we chose Taoyuan's Puxin Ranch, where a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and the aroma of milk became a cherished memory for our family.
Upon entering the ranch, the children were like deer set free, running excitedly across the vast green fields. The grass here isn't as neat and formal as in city parks, but rather exudes a sense of natural wildness. It's so soft underfoot that even adults can't resist taking off their shoes for a "foot massage." We first participated in a feeding experience, where little hands held grass for the bleating sheep. Watching them scramble for the food made the children burst into laughter. The next moment, the cows' long tongues "sneaked" at their hands, sending them into a shriek of laughter. This innocent scene moved everyone, adults and children alike, to laughter.
At noon, we spread out our picnic mats on the ranch grass and enjoyed simple lunch boxes while watching the cattle graze leisurely in the distance. The breeze carried the scent of fresh grass, and time seemed to slow down. My child, lying on my lap, asked, "Are they this happy every day?" This question stunned me for a moment, then made me smile and reply, "Yes, because they live in nature every day, just like you do now, happy and free."
In the afternoon, we participated in the ranch's DIY workshop, where we made our own delicious fresh milk ice cream. Although my hands were sore from churning, watching my child's satisfied expression as he took his first bite was sweeter than any dessert. We then rented a horse-drawn carriage and toured the ranch. My child, wearing a cowboy hat, pretended to be the ranch owner, waving and "managing the cattle" along the way. Even the strangers nearby were amused by his little antics.
As the sun slowly set over the ranch's grasslands, we sat on wooden chairs, watching the sky turn a vibrant orange. The scene lacked majestic mountains or fancy facilities, but instead captured the most authentic family time and the purest happiness.
Taoyuan's Puxin Ranch is a place where children can connect with nature and learn about life, while adults can unwind and reconnect with their inner child. Here, we learn more than just feeding sheep and making ice cream; we record each other's growth through laughter and write the most touching chapters of our family's lives through companionship.
