Bali Ubud Spa Recommendations 🫧
Personally, I think this place is really great—it perfectly capped off our trip and made it totally worthwhile! Putri Bali Spa has 3 branches in Bali, and we visited the flagship store. The service and ambiance were excellent, and there's even a small restaurant inside. Flowers are placed on every step and in front of mirrors, creating a very refined and uplifting atmosphere!
🫧 Recommended Treatments:
• Lomi Lomi Massage 💆♀️
Highly, highly recommended! Both of us chose this 90-minute massage, and it was so relaxing I nearly drooled (just kidding…). I drifted off to sleep several times—the sound of water trickling from the courtyard rockery and the serene, spiritual music in the room were utterly soul-cleansing.
This treatment focuses on relaxing the shoulders, neck, waist, and legs, with both front and back massaged thoroughly. The pressure was perfect, and it included a brief head and facial massage. Afterward, all the fatigue from climbing steps at Penida Island vanished… Before the massage, you can choose your preferred essential oil—I went with coconut 🥥, while my boyfriend picked orange 🍊, both of which smelled amazing!
• Flower Bath Decoration 🛁
This is more for photo ops. The flowers are freshly picked, though small bugs are unavoidable. During the bath, you’re served two cups of hot tea and fruit. I have to say, their papaya! It was the freshest I’ve had in Bali—no hotel or restaurant compared. But if I had to choose again, I’d spend the 350k on another Lomi Lomi session~
• Ear Candle Therapy 🕯️
More gimmick than comfort. It’s supposed to use candle heat to remove earwax and relieve headaches, but my boyfriend said he didn’t feel anything special—just a waste of 200k and 40 minutes.
💭 Notes:
If you’re in Ubud, free pickup is available for two or more people. Also, a 3% service fee applies for Visa card payments, so we paid in cash.
(Sigh… I always end up writing too much in my notes 🥲)
