Ramada Hotel is located next to the Zhongshan Mall, adjacent to Zhongshan Park. The restaurant has an in-house restaurant too. Hotel wise it is a good mid-luxury hotel property, with helpful staff. I had a few nights stay at Ramada, and even requested the Concierge to accommodate my luggage one day prior to my arrival and they were happy to do that. This saved quite a few hassle for me. The room was spacious, clean and modern! Cleaning is conducted everyday and if one chooses to skip cleaning for a day or more then then he guest are pampered with extra membership points as part of go green strategy. Guests are welcomed with a fruit platter as a welcome to their property. The hotel location is nicely placed near to this mall that offers a-lot of eating options. The other side of the hotel, adjacent to park lies few restaurant that offers western and Indian food options #staycation

Well situated at Balestier region, which is packed with dining options. Take time to explore the kopitiam along Balestier road and admire the architecture of the shophouses too. Room was compact and clean. Bed was very comfortable, surprisingly on par with some luxury hotels. The TV was pretty modern with ample channels to keep us entertained. The swimming pool was very clean and was very big for doing laps. Service crew was very friendly. Overall a positive experience for a Ramada property. #staycation Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee Balestier Road Address: 586 Balestier Rd, #01-01, Singapore 329898 Believe me when I say I am always on a foodcation, not staycation. I checked myself in at Ramada Singapore several times and still have not completed my Balestier Food tour. This lor mee store is a new franchise and it is not the usual hawker store. It has been re-invented into a bistro. I recommend you to dine in here, rather than takeaway back to your room at Ramada Singapore. This noodle dish has a sticky broth and it will taste better if you can eat it hot. You will have to queue for a table before you can proceed to self-service order at the counter. Then wait for your number and collect your food later. Their menu has many varieties too and if you can eat, can try out their side dishes too.

#cityscapes Zhongshan Mall Address: 20 Ah Hood Rd, #01-18A Zhongshan Mall, Singapore 329984 Be patient and wait for Mcdonalds' counter seat facing Zhongshan park. These counter seats face the pond directly and the beautiful banyan tree in the centre. The pond is empty, no fish but still a great view to look at among all the buildings.Most of the buildings in this area are not all so you can have a complete view of the whole of Balestier, especially their temples. Zhongshan mall is also easily accessible and many buses come here too. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the mall. It is also linked to Ramada Singapore and there are free shuttle buses to Whampoa Market too.

#cityscapes Starbucks Zhongshan Mall Address: 20 Ah Hood Rd, #01-18A Zhongshan Mall, Singapore 329984 This is a secret place for me to feel like I am overseas in Singapore. A starbucks in the park, come right here to Zhongshan mall/Ramada Singapore. They have floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking Zhongshan park. If you like, you can choose their al-fresco seats and enjoy the warm temperature. It is a small park and you can pop over to Sun Yat Sen Memorial hall and Burmese temple. There are also many green grass patches to chill or play with your children and pet dogs. It is a great place to chill with a cup of starbucks and watch the skies.

#staycation New Ubin Seafood @ Zhongshan Park Address: 16 Ah Hood Rd, Singapore 329982 Ramada Singapore always has promotions when you book their rooms. The promotion is that each room will have a $20 dining credit to use at New Ubin Seafood. This is a very nice and spacious restaurant and they serve very delicious local food at reasonable prices. There are these 3 crabs for $88 promotion too. I will recommend you to take away the crab and enjoy it back in your room. But of course, feel free to eat it at the restaurant. They also serve kids cutlery and provide iced/warm water at no extra charge. I did ask them if they are using ingredients from their own garden. Unfortunately, their garden is not ready at this moment. This place is also good for family and friends gathering and they have big tables for booking too. I ordered their beehoon and beef and it still had the same yummy taste as before.

I am happy to see that the garden at Ramada Singapore has been set up. It is right by their swimming pool. If your rooms are facing Zhongshan Park, you also can see it from your bay window too. Plus, their sister hotel next door Days by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park has reopened. So there are more choices for a Balestier Staycation. The garden has many varieties from lady fingers, thai’s sweet basil, papaya and lime. It is a new garden so they are still growing. I am pretty sure with the plenty of sunshine and rain, I will get to see them growing up on my next staycation. Thumbs up for green fingers!

I managed to watch some amazing sunsets at Ramada Singapore during my 3D2N stays over the long weekend. It was also less crowded than usual since most people have started to travel. So it is also a good time to have a local staycation too! Their pools are well maintained and there are much more sun loungers this time. Guests are encouraged to book a pool timing but you are allowed to overstay as long the pools are not crowded. During my stay, it was never crowded. The only sad thing is they have removed the safety ambassadors pandas at the lobby. It is also good news anyway for the pandas to take a break.

Stayed for 3 days 2 nights and in loving this corner room with extra natural lights at the cornerthe room comes with complimentary bath bomb and toiletries. I love how spacious the pool. Room dining is in take away style, so it is not the usual fancy plate and cutlery. Service was nice, very standardised.

If you are looking for a spacious yet affordable hotel in Singapore, well look no further! Located a few bus stops away from Novena MRT Station, Ramada Hotel stands tall. This 17th storey hotel has a simple yet elegant lobby. The room design is also really nice! The checkin & checkout procedure was relatively quick & the front-desk staff were extremely kind and accommodating! The outdoor pool, which was located on the third floor of the hotel is surprisingly big. There were plenty of chairs and although we are not at a high floor, the views were pretty good! Overall, highly recommend staying here! #staycation #singapore

My family and I had a stay at Ramada and thought that it was a super underrated hotel nestled away in the heart of the neighbourhood! The location was amazing too as it's surrounded by a wide variety of good food, such as the numerous bak kut teh, tau sar piah and seafood shops and restaurants.😍 The room were small but spacious, the space was used to smartly! There was also free tea, coffee and a minibar consisting of soft drinks for you to enjoy or take home. Something which was rare, a well maintained garden with flowers, herbs and fruits was a nice discovery. They also had a beautiful swimming pool with lounge chairs in case you don't want to get wet. #staycation

For me, I chose Ramada at Zhongshan because of their awesome swimming pool and $20 dining credits. Usually I will take away because it is easier. But this time, I managed to dine in at New Ubin Seafood. Yes, I have stayed at Ramada a few times. It was great and I am still heading back again this year. Their menu consists of many local zichar favourite and my personal favourite is their Seafood Chinchalok Fried Beehoon.It is a big portion, good enough for 3 small eaters. They also have crab promotion whereby you buy two crabs and get a third crab for free at $88. You will also get to choose your own crab cooking style. For this, i suggest you takeaway the crab and bring it to your room to enjoy it slowly. Just outside New Ubin, there is the lobby’s bar which is also great for a drink. If not, can just head out (within the hotel + mall) to grab a starbucks.

This is one of the hotels which I will recommend to families at affordable pricing. I chanced upon it when I had to use my two free nights locally since there was no way for me to go overseas. I managed to narrow my choice and to try out Ramada back in May 2021. Their pool blew my mind. First, they close one lane for swimmers and leave the rest to the kids and non-swimmers. The pool also has a proper shallow area for younger children. Most importantly, a great view at their pool overlooking Zhongshan Park. If you also manage to get a corner room, you can see their pool very clearly too. A very good deal for some Balestier neighbourhood food hunting staycation.

We’ve paid on average between $90-110 a night for our two stays here. Sure, it’s a hotel located off the beaten track, and you do have to take a bus three stops to the nearest Toa Payoh station or downwards to town, and the closest you have to a mall is the Zhong Shan Mall the hotel is linked to. There’s also not much for entertainment but the hotel has a gym and a decent sized pool, with plenty of food options within walking distance so I believe you’ll be able to enjoy a quiet, comfortable and idyllic staycation here just like we did~ 😊😊 We didn’t wait too long for our rooms, and both our stays found clean and well maintained rooms. You’ll not lack for bottled water, nor Colgate, and if you need more water or ice, just give the front desk a call or make a quick trip to them. The aircon is adjustable and can let you have a taste of winter should you like to experience it here. But if it’s too cold, just pop into the sheets and take a nap or two! My friends and I agreed we had some of the best sleep in a long while here.. the bed is good!! If you want to laze around by the window, the daybed’s a great place to be to while the time away with a book and a cuppa coffee (especially if you’re the sort who wants to shower before getting in bed). Located in Novena neighbourhood, Ramada by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park is connected to a shopping mall. The mall has a supermarket, food court and small cafes. Hotel guests can park their car in the mall connected to the hotel. The city view king room is 23 sqm. Ask for a higher floor for a good city view. Though the hotel is not located in town, the lower price the guest pays for a similar room in town is worth it! The room looks very new and it is very clean and spacious. The room also comes with an expansive sitting areas right by the window and it is a great space to chill! High recommended for staycation! #exploresgtogether #staycation

#exploresgtogether #momentssg #staycations #staycationsofsg #rediscoversingapore Finally trying out this hotel that many people have been talking about!🤗 Thankfully the staff were kind enough to let me register first and then they called me thereafter when my room was ready to collect the 🔑 😊 because the check in queue was crazy which snaked all the way out of the lobby due to the holidays 🤯 My room was decent apart from some minor wear and tear which didn't affect my stay too much and some 🐜, and my phone seems to be unable to call outside despite it being switched on unless I put speaker mode 🥲 otherwise it was clean overall esp the beds 🙂 Loving the red mattress by the window side to relax and take in the city view! (at least mine wasn't too close to buildings unless some of the hotels I stayed in) Managed to book a slot for the pool and gym earlier before the check in crowd came to use them later😅 but there were still a considerable number of ppl, and had to really watch out for kids while swimming the lap 🤣 Staff was really kind to let me book 2 slots and choose to go either later as there were dark ☁️ threatening to 🌧 fortunately the skies cleared up for my first choice slot. Gym was well equipped than expected but a bit squeezy 😅 Dinner was boss bee hoon (their signature) and satay which were more reasonably priced than the other food on the menu; does make me feel like a boss eating zichar restaurant style 😎

This is one of my few best staycation trips in Singapore . Upon check in, even though there were long queue waiting to be check-in, they remain patience to all of us and clear instructions was given . Once we reached our room, room size was bigger than I expected . So spacious to walk around or do exercise. This was one of the advantage. The view from the room was good facing Zhong Shan Park and nearby housing/commercial buildings. Room include various cable tv channels from local and overseas. Large desk and seating area facing the nice city scape . Complimentary Coffee bags, Tea bags, bottled water, cups, electric kettle were placed nicely. Bidet, slippers, fridge, in room safe , electric iron and various stuffs provided. For a couple of hotels with a price of $128 per night do not provide bidet , slippers and fridge . The toiletries given was more than enough . Love the rain showers in the bathroom. A $20 dining voucher was also given upon check in. We used the $20 voucher to tabao 2 packets of food from the New Ubin restaurant . Only topped up some. After our meal, we went downstairs to have a walk at Zhongshan Park while dropping by Zhongshan Mall to purchase some groceries . Both located right at the ground floor of this hotel . Very convenient. After our shopping, we went back to our hotel to prepare our stuffs for swimming . It was quite a long queue to the pool. But we managed to get a swim by 6:30pm . We are only allowed to swim maximum 1 hour due to COVID-19 restrictions. The pool was quite clean and big . After our swim, we lay down at the sun Terrance just beside the pool to relax our mind. After the 1 hour spent at the swimming pool, we headed back to our room to get a wash up. After a relaxing bath, we catched some dramas/documentaries from KBS, HBO and Discovery channels and have dinner. Enjoy all the facilities here. Recommended to stay here. The location is superb, with lots of food option in the Balestier Market like Soon Kee Long House Boneless Duck Rice, Ah Hui Big Prawn Noodle, Longhouse. There is also Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee, Whampoa Keng Fish Head Steamboat all less than 5 mins walk away #exploresgtogether
