Beijing Family Fun | A Hidden Gem Parent-Child Hotel in Dongsi Hutong
🎨🎨🎨
Every time traveling with kids,
figuring out how to eat, sleep, and stay comfortably feels like a "century-old puzzle."
Mom wants to explore Wangfujing, the Forbidden City, and the National Art Museum,
so the hotel must be close to attractions—ideally right at their doorstep!
The little one wants to experience Beijing's hutong culture,
and of course, there's naptime, milk, and diaper changes…
One misstep,
and vacation turns into "survival mode"!
...
Last time, and the time before that,
we'd barely started exploring when it was already time to head back.
If there happened to be a diaper emergency… or hunger pangs…
Well, back to the hotel!
This time, we stayed at—
Chaodongli Boutique Hotel, nestled at the foot of the Imperial City,
east of the Forbidden City, hidden in the heart of downtown,
where we instantly rediscovered that "vacation relaxation" vibe!
① Kid-Friendly 🍄 Low-Height Furniture
The beds, tables, and chairs are all extra low,
perfect for a 1.5-year-old to climb on and off independently.
Our little one jumped and played happily on the bed.
The room also has a full tatami area—
just move the table aside,
and voilà, a giant play space for tiny humans!
Napping here is pretty great too.
② Location-Friendly 🍄 Close to Everything!
The hotel’s location is fantastic,
with Dongsi Subway Station just 100 meters away.
The Forbidden City, Qianmen, Wangfujing…
are all just a 20-minute drive, making it ideal for family trips.
Whether you want to explore local nature
or dive into urban culture,
this is the perfect starting point.
On hot summer days,
when the little one gets tired or cranky,
you can easily return for a break,
nap, and head out refreshed!
③ Service-Friendly 🍄
The hotel provides dedicated children’s toiletries,
even the nightlight is soft and gentle on the eyes.
The sink is spacious, making handwashing easy,
and the staff are incredibly warm—
helping with luggage at check-in
and even gifting our child a small present at checkout!
Truly a hidden gem for families!
The Reconstructed·Chaodongli Mini Mall is also a delight to explore.
Our little one adored Mocoffee ☕️ + Now Mansion’s brownies.
If it’s too hot to venture outside,
you’ve got accommodation, dining, coffee, afternoon tea, and art exhibitions all in one place—
keeping the kiddo entertained all day long!
