Xiushui Village is located in the northwest of Fuchuan County, Hezhou City, about 30 kilometers away from the county seat. It is an ancient village with a quaint flavor. In the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, the village produced one champion and 26 Jinshi, so it is called Xiushui Champion Village. Interestingly, everyone in the village has the surname Mao, and according to legend, they are the same clan as the Mao family in Shaoshan. Today, Xiushui Village is ancient and peaceful. There are many residential buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the village, as well as iconic buildings such as the Zhuangyuan Building, the ancient stage, the ancient archway, the ancient well, and the ancient plaque. All of them are antique and suitable for visiting and taking pictures. There are also the emerald green Qinglong Spring, the ancient giant trees, and the beautiful peaks of the classic karst landform in the village. Many places are very similar to the mountains and waters of Guilin, which are very beautiful and can be strolled for sightseeing.
