If you’re going to Madrid, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is worth a visit too! About an hour or so away, one can conveniently purchase a bus ticket at the Madrid Moncloa station for maybe around 10 euros for a return ticket (I’m sorry I forgot the exact price but it was affordable!). And the bus takes you right to the centre of Segovia, which is great. From there, in just 10 minutes or so you can walk/stroll to this amazing, impressive aqueduct, very obviously the main feature of this town. It’s unmissable and even the main street leading up to it is named after it. Its grand and old and anything grand and old is worth looking at, in my opinion hahaha because hey, it’s been standing for ages. There was a huge tree in front of the aqueduct to celebrate Christmas. The lights weren't on when I went, but I think it must have been even more gorgeous and beautiful by now. I could feel the Christmas atmosphere even in the aqueduct. 4️⃣~5️⃣ Alcazar Castle (Segovia Alcazar) It is a building built to drive out the Moors from Spain after the Islamic rule. The castle with the blue roof has a fairytale-like image, so it is said to have been the background for 'Snow White'. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Segovia at a glance.
