Hey everyone! Today, I want to share my experience at Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection - an IHG Hotel. Apart from the slightly high price, this hotel is practically flawless! Its location is unbeatable—super convenient for getting around. Many places are just a short walk away, yet it's not in a bustling area, so the environment is peaceful. You won't have to worry about being disturbed by noisy traffic. The rooms are pretty standard but equipped with all the necessary amenities, and they are quite spacious. Upon check-in, you'll need to pay a deposit of 5,000 THB, which can be done via card or cash. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but unfortunately, it rained during my stay, so I didn't get a chance to try it out. The area around the hotel is great for food and shopping. There's a restaurant bar on the ground floor where you can order meals. Right outside, there's a 7-Eleven convenience store, and across the street, you'll find a Starbucks. A 5-minute walk will take you to the BTS station, and via the skywalk, you can directly reach Central World. It's also very close to the Siam shopping district. Heading in the opposite direction on the BTS for four stops will take you to a mall with Butter Bear products. At Central Chidlom Mall, located opposite the BTS station, you'll find a wide range of Sanrio merchandise—more than what you’d find at Central Embassy. There are plenty more options nearby as well.

This is a condo-style hotel with one bedroom and one living room, equipped with a kitchenette and washing machine. Hotel facilities include a swimming pool, game room, gym, and several bars. The location is also very convenient, the hotel is close to BTS Sukhumvit and Silom, and just a short walk from the bridge. The bright and spacious room is dominated by white and wood, creating a simple and safe resting space. When we actually checked in, we found that the space was quite spacious, and the soundproofing was very good. We could hardly hear any noise from outside or from the neighbors, which made us sleep very soundly. There is no bathtub but there is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a 24-hours 7-11 store downstairs so it is very convenient to get any snacks or stuff from there. The breakfast spread was okay, not fantastic. I feel that the Thais’ hygiene level is much higher than Singaporeans considering that we are given a pair of disposable gloves before entering and all the cutlery are sealed in all the restaurants. We really like the atmosphere of this restaurant because it perfectly combines modernity and historical elements, such as the arched Sino-Portuguese style of the building, decorated with antique French newspaper covers, black and white photographs showing Thai lifestyles, or a map of Siam written in French since the colonial era, along with luxurious velvet-covered chairs and beautifully patterned Thai plates, bowls, and spoons. The lighting also adds to the atmosphere, making the restaurant even more beautiful and inviting.
