Opened in 1897, it boasts a history of nearly 130 years. A tram stop is located right outside the market, making it extremely convenient to reach. The indoor market is famous for its produce, handicrafts, dried fruits and spices, daily necessities, chocolate, refrigerator magnets, postcards, and local delicacies. The market has three floors. The basement and first floor primarily sell food, while the second floor houses handicrafts and restaurants. It's a must-visit in Budapest, perfect for a bite to eat and a souvenir to take home. ❗ ⭐ The paprika here is quite famous, and I highly recommend it. Hungarian paprika is said to be among the best in the world. The packaging is also different, with options for tin and cloth packaging (which also comes with a small wooden spoon). So, summer clothing like short-sleeved shirts, dresses, and light shirts are essential! However, if you're heading out to see the night view, it's also a good idea to pack a light cardigan or jacket. #centraleurope Budapest is the capital of Hungary and can be located via the main international airport, railway station or bus station. All three have connections to other countries in Europe making it a very convenient city to visit. The city centre has a number of attractions including the Houses of Parliament and the castle which are located on either side of the Danube river. You can walk up to the castle and around the grounds (free of charge) between 10am and 10pm to get some good photos of the city. Heroes square is also a popular attraction which is open 24 hours and free to the public and there is the national art museum located there too. The city has a wide range of hotels and hostels that range from 5 star resorts to rooms that are shared to lower costs. The hotel that I stayed in cost around 60 euros per night and it was a 3 star hotel in the centre of Budapest. In terms of food, you can easily find anything type of food that you would like including Hungarian dishes like beef goulash as well as international cuisine which is very affordable. The ambiance in the city is very lively and busy, especially in the summer when the days are a bit longer.
