📝The main photo shows the 89th-floor observatory with a W-shaped design, making it convenient for everyone to take photos of the outside scenery. Taipei 101 uses a special mirror principle, creating a kaleidoscope-like effect through the reflection of the ceiling and floor. From the north, you can see the Xinyi District and Songshan Airport, and from the west, you can see the Linkou Plateau and Guanyin Mountain. The 89th floor also has a restaurant and souvenir shop. The restaurant offers simple desserts and drinks, and the souvenir shop sells many classic Taiwanese childhood snacks at the same prices as outside. Very considerate!
Additionally, the outdoor observatory on the 91st floor, at an altitude of 390 meters, offers an infinite view of the horizon. The elevator to the Taipei 101 observatory is the fastest high-speed elevator I've ever taken, reaching the 89th floor in less than a minute! The curved TV wall on the 5th floor allows you to comfortably enjoy the day and night views of Greater Taipei from the seats in front of it. Inside Taipei 101, there's a giant golden damper ball that reduces wind sway at high altitudes, making it feel like you're on solid ground even on the 91st floor. No need to worry even during an earthquake!
✨Highly recommended for friends traveling to Taiwan✨

Taipei 101 Observatory: Stunning Skyline Views
The Taipei 101 Observatory offers a breathtaking skyline view experience. Standing on the observation deck feels like being above the clouds, with the entire cityscape of Taipei unfolding before your eyes. The towering buildings, bustling traffic, and distant mountains and bays create a magnificent panorama. The rapid ascent of the elevator provides an unprecedented thrill and excitement. The wind damper on the observation deck is a perfect blend of technology and art, showcasing human ingenuity and creativity. This visit deeply impressed me with the splendor and beauty of Taipei.

Fantastic view and souvenirs from ‘Taipei 101 Observatory’
Taipei 101 Observatory would have been much prettier if the weather was a little better
I almost regretted not going up here ㅠ_ㅠ
I think the observatory is a must, not an option, when traveling abroad
If you want to see the beautiful scenery of Taipei, you must visit the 101 Observatory!
There are various photo zones and they sell souvenirs, so feel free to enjoy them 💗
In particular, the photos come out pretty no matter where you take them 📸
📍Souvenirs
Before going up to the observatory, there is a chopstick vending machine near the entrance where you can get your chopsticks engraved. Be sure to buy some chopsticks here!
You can get your initials engraved, and they are pretty.
📍Tickets
Please note that there are tickets for only going up to the 89th floor and tickets for going up to the 89th and 101st floors.
However, the Taipei 101 Observatory itself was really nice, but the elevator line was really long. Going up and going down both require a lot of patience ^^
📍Admission fee
1 person - 17,397 won (changes depending on the exchange rate)
It is cheaper to buy the admission fee in advance in Korea.

Which is the highest place in Taipei? A city always has its own city landmarks. When I visited the urban area of Taiwan, I saw a tall building, the Taipei 101. It is considered to be the tallest building in Taipei, just like the Oriental Pearl of Shanghai. You need to go up to the fifth floor to buy tickets. They cost NT$600 and HKD120. From the fifth floor, it takes only 37 seconds to reach the highest point, which is about 380 meters. It moves at an average rate of 10 meters per second all the way up to the 89th floor. Here, there is a 360-degree view from the Panoramic Viewing Platform, allowing you to see Taipei without anything in the way. There is a huge screen that features notes that talk about the different famous buildings in Taipei. You can visit Taipei as per your needs.

Taipei 101
Taipei 101 is one of Taiwan's landmarks. It was the tallest building in Taiwan and the second tallest in the world in 2004, standing at 508 meters with a total of 101 floors. The number 101 symbolizes January 1st, New Year's Day, which is considered an auspicious day.
Inside the building, there are various zones including shops, restaurants, souvenir stores, and a beautiful observation deck, making it a popular tourist destination in Taipei. Additionally, on December 31st each year, Taipei 101 hosts a spectacular fireworks display to welcome the New Year.

Day Four - Superb Taipei 101 and Shi Lin night market Part 2
#100waysoftravel Woken up the second day in Taipei. After brushing and tidying up ourselves then we move on to our new explorer places. First stop managed to get our Japanese lunch and Ximending then we proceed on to Taipei 101 tower.#Taipei 101 The moment we came out from MRT station, we witnessed a mammoth building on top of us that is Taipei 101 tower. Taken few photos and bumped into our tour friends we met at Sun Moon Lake. After several group photos taken then we split up and moved into 101 building. Plenty of international branded shops such as Chanel, Rolex and Dior there. We proceed to climbed to the 101 tower. After we reached the top floor for tourists then we were so excited because the view throughout Taipei was spectacular. Spent almost half a day with several shooing bag then we went to Shi Ling Night market #Shi Lin Night Market . In the evening, almost all night markets in Taipei was congested. We had our dinner there and shopped for couple of souvenirs. Time flies and it’s almost 11:30pm at night and we decided to call it a night here.
Formerly the world's tallest architecture, a visit to Taipei 101 is quite simply a must-see attraction for anyone visiting the capital of Taiwan, Taipei.
At the heart of Taipei 101's earthquake resistance is its tuned mass damper, a massive 660-ton golden steel sphere suspended within the tower. This pendulum-like device is designed to counteract the building's swaying during seismic activity, absorbing kinetic energy and reducing movement by up to 40%.

Tower 101 Taipei
It’s a tall tower with a great view. The mass dampener is very interesting as it stops the tower shaking too much in high winds or earthquakes. Take binoculars to enhance your experience! There are lots of places to get selfies as they provide scenes and props for photos. Your tickets includes some discounts for food and drink as you can eat there too. For a higher price you can book a wall around the perimeter outside.
