This brand is from Germany and if there are any house warming parties, I will buy their promotional set as my welcome gift. But please do not invite me to your house warming. If you are looking to decorate your new home, take a look at their promotional sets and you will definitely find a bargain. They also have special design sets for example The Minions and their cutlery will have very high quality finish of The Minions printed on them. #meetsingapore A hidden gem at CK Tangs basement. At their basement, it is their home and living department and there is also a hidden food court within this department. It is open to the public and it has retro designs here. There are many olden style of tingkats as display and wooden stools as their food court designs. You can sit on these wooden stools when you are eating. They also have many delicious looking photos of their dishes as their wall display. You will find more local and asian dishes here. It is super crowded during lunch time so please try to come early or later to avoid the crowd. I recommend their laksa, so good.

This restaurant located next to Tangs Plaza shopping centre is usually pretty crowded so if you aren’t picky about having to sit down to dine, I highly recommend you do a takeout! That way, you can skip the queue getting into the restaurant. The item I like the most is the sausage, egg and cheese burger, the perfect type of comfort food. The burger buns can be a little oilier than regular buns though. Drink lots of water after this indulgence! If you do not buy, you oso can get the flower gelato for 5 dollars, which its flavours are strawberry hibiscus and vanilla. The gelato is from sugartree gelato, which is 1st singapore triflavour artistenal gelato in a tub. They also have their hotel attached to their shopping mall and it is really one of the earliest shopping centres in Orchard road. Their designs can be classified as heritage and heavily influenced by Fengshui too. Their founder, CK Tang, came to Singapore in the early days and built his empire. Back in the early 50s, Orchard road was not a shopping mall. It was an orchard plantation with cemeteries. But still, it was transiting slowly towards commercial space. It was not until in the 80s, Tangs Plaza had transformed themselves into a hospitality and retail centric. Even now in the present days, they are also an international brandings shopping mall with a fabulous hotel, Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. It is also one of the popular wedding banquets and hotel destinations.
