The history and philosophy of Hangeul, which King Sejong created for the people, are organized so that you can see it at a glance, and as you walk along the exhibition, you naturally come to think about its meaning. From the entrance of the exhibition hall, phrases containing King Sejong’s love for the people are engraved on the walls, and copies of the Hunminjeongeum Haeryebon and Eonhaebon are neatly displayed. The explanations are easy and friendly, so I realized once again why Hangeul is considered a great alphabet. There is also a digital experience zone where you can try combining consonants and vowels yourself, so everyone from children to adults can enjoy it. It was a time to feel the beauty and scientific nature of Hangeul in a quiet space. #HawaiiAirlineEvent Sejong·ChungmugongStoryExhibition Hall – Review of Geobukseon The most impressive thing about the ‘Sejong·ChungmugongStory’ exhibition hall located in the basement of Gwanghwamun Square was definitely the Geobukseon. It was a model that was recreated at 55% of its actual size, and it was bigger and more detailed than I thought, so I was overwhelmed. Since you can go inside, you can imagine the battle methods of the Joseon navy, and the smell of wood vividly conveyed the atmosphere of the time. You can also see models of cannons and firearms on the deck, and a short animation about the Battle of Myeongnyang was shown in the video room, so I thought it would be great to come with children. It was a satisfying experience that made me wonder if it could be this informative for a free admission. You can watch the major naval battles of the 7 years of the Imjin War, such as the Battle of Hansan and the Battle of Myeongnyang, through video.
