“Wat Tham Chaeng” is located in Khao Yai Subdistrict, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. Phra Maha Dr. Wichai Techathammo, the abbot of the temple, created the first statue of Grandfather Phaya Phetkiri Mahamuni Sri Suthonakraj in Phetchaburi Province and the largest in Thailand. It is approximately 31 meters high, with a diameter of 2 meters. The length of the body is in the shape of an Unalom Yantra, with 9 holes to pass through, and is 227 meters long. It is sapphire-colored or the green color of a beetle’s wings, giving it a dimensional look. The Naga here was designed and sculpted by Mr. Prawat Manissa (Ajarn Pued Poonpan). It took more than 2 years to build. It is a new landmark of Phetchaburi Province.
