4-1 Kamoi, Yokosuka, Kanagawa 239-0813 A glass-walled museum near Kannonzaki Park in Yokosuka. There are several windows inside, from which you can see the ocean, which is a spectacular sight. The view from the rooftop, set with the ocean, is perfect for Instagram. There is also a stand where you can place your smartphone, so you can take commemorative photos. Please go and check it out.

#japantrip Did you know there a few really cool exhibits going on now at the Yokosuka Museum Of Art? They just opened their Ghibli exhibit today and it's open through June 18th. And they have a Giant Robot exhibit now through April 7th. We love this beautifully designed space. They also have a restaurant, food/coffee truck and gift shop. 🚗 Parking available in their lot next to the museum for a fee. 🎟 You can purchase tickets on their website and pick up at Lawson's, or go in person to Lawson's and someone will help you navigate their Loppi machine to reserve tickets and pay at the register.

The "Suzuki Toshio and Ghibli Exhibition" ended in the summer of 2023 with great success I went to the Yokosuka Museum of Art in Kanagawa because it has now been revived😊 A special exhibition focusing on Studio Ghibli producer Suzuki Toshio. #thingstodo I unexpectedly stopped here during a long walk on a fairly cool day. I was surprised by all the exhibits available and presented with no entry fee. I had been nearby recently at an event at a auditorium located in the immediate area but did not recall seeing this place. A nice way to spend an hour or two.this was truly a wonderful experience. A beautiful building located in a stunning spot. I loved the top viewing deck, plus the little space inside on top with the free high power viewing lens. And down the spiral staircase to see the wonderful interior, and admire all the little viewing portals cut into the building. Truly a wonderful feeling to walk around here and enjoy the space, and the work on display

#2024wish The Art museum focuses on contemporary art in Japan. This includes artists of new and old. Allow about two hours to see everything that the museum offers. Wear walking shoes because the art work is displayed in several buildings. The harbor is directly across from the museum. A small restaurant at the museum allows one to enjoy a cup of tea while viewing the harbor. If you are coming from downtown, take bus number 24. It gets you very close to the museum. In 2024, I want to visit this place again.
