Beautiful Crete - most beautiful beach
Crete is one of my favorite destinations. Balos Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Located near Chania town it is quite a road up there and quite some stairs. Bring water and food. You won t regret it. Be prepared to spend all day because you will not find a better sun spot and more perfect sand than here. Also the water was super warm.

Paradise Beach for Just €2! The Ultimate Samos Island Beach Guide.
The best part about the beaches on Samos Island is that they don't come with luxury resort price tags. Believe it or not, you can rent a sunbed at Paradise Beach for just a couple of euros. Bring some pita bread and swim all day in the crystal-clear waters. That's the perfect way to spend your time here.
Getting There: You can easily reach the main beaches by public bus from Pythagorio, the island's gateway. If you're looking for more flexibility, renting a car is highly recommended.
Best Time to Visit: To avoid the scorching summer heat, September is your best bet when the water temperature is perfectly pleasant. The crowds also thin out compared to the peak season.
Packing List: Water shoes are an absolute must, as the rocky seabed in some parts of the Aegean can be tough on bare feet. The sun is incredibly strong, so don't forget to pack plenty of sunscreen and a hat.
Recommended Itinerary: Start your morning snorkeling at Tsamadou before the crowds arrive. In the afternoon, take a relaxing nap on the sandy shores of Psili Ammos. Cap off your day by catching a stunning sunset near the Potami Waterfalls. It's truly a spectacular way to spend the day!

Sand, Pebbles, Wind, and Windsurfing: Discover the Diverse Coastlines
The true charm of Samos Island lies in its incredibly diverse coastlines. First up, if you're a surfer, Kokkari Beach is the place to be. Situated on the northern coast, this beach catches the Aegean winds perfectly, making it a famous mecca for windsurfing. The picturesque fishing village dotted with colorful boats and the lively atmosphere at dusk are simply exceptional.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, head over to Livadaki Beach. This small cove, dotted with palm trees, feels just like a tropical paradise. You can escape the ordinary by sipping a mojito in a lounge area filled with colorful cushions. For couples, Mykali Beach is highly recommended—you can actually take in views of the coastal town of Kusadasi, Turkey, right from the water while you swim!
Instead of flashy beach clubs, you'll find the ultimate luxury here: relaxing in nature to the soothing sound of the waves. Don't forget to bring your snorkel gear to explore the vibrant underwater world hidden among the rocky shores.

A Blue Paradise Embraced by Pine Forests: The Hidden Beaches of Samos Island
Located in the northeastern Aegean Sea, Samos Island is a true "hidden paradise" covered in lush pine forests and olive groves. Visitors are enchanted by the sparkling, crystal-clear waters and uniquely charming beaches.
A highly recommended spot is Tsamadou Beach. Surrounded by towering cliffs, its deep blue waters are perfect for snorkeling. Right next door, Lemonakia Beach features golden sands and gentle waves, making it a favorite for families. In the southeast, Psili Ammos lives up to its name, which means "fine sand." Its shallow, warm waters provide a safe and fun experience for families with young children.
If you're feeling adventurous, head to Potami Beach in the northwest. There, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waterfall pools and take in a dramatic sunset. All of these beaches are free to access, and the best time to visit is in the crisp morning light.

My time on Samos Island was nothing short of magical. From the crystal-clear turquoise waters to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, every moment felt like a perfect escape. The sunsets were breathtaking, the food unforgettable, and the relaxed island pace was exactly what I needed. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave, and one I’ll always want to return to.

Balos Beach - Crete Island, Greece
Balos Bay with the sandy beach of the same name is located in the western part of the Greek island of Crete. The beach is located near the island of Imeri Gramvous.
This is one of the most popular places in Crete, excursions are often carried here, and those tourists who have been here once want to come back here again.
The fact is that Balos is the confluence of three seas. At this point, the waters of the Ionian, Aegean and Libyan seas meet, and the water in the bay changes color depending on the time of day. Tour guides talk about 20 different shades - from light turquoise to dark blue.
Address: Balos Beach, Peninsula, Γραμβούσα 734 00, Greece.
