A famous retirement town Sedona is famous for the way it was embraced nature and tried to curtail the growth of the city to fit in with its surroundings. The city itself has shopping, restaurants and lots of local craft stalls. It can be very busy in summer periods so it’s best to book everything in advance, especially any restaurants that offer views of the rocks. Walking around Sedona's downtown Uptown The main street is about 700m long, lined with restaurants and souvenir shops. It was an interesting town that gave me a strange feeling for some reason. I think I’ve found my dream retirement town, Sedona! The most beautiful town I’ve ever seen, an incredibly constructed town surrounded by some of the most unbelievable nature I’ve ever seen. The town is famous for how much time and effort has gone into perfecting the aesthetics of the buildings, even world famous brands have had to change their logos colours to be able to operate here. The brick and colours scheme matches the red rocks of the land around and the use of muted greens and blues helps emphasise the nature all around. Things can be a bit pricey here so we just drove through and had lunch, we stayed a night further out of town. Sedona has Earth's energy vortexes and is a famous spiritual town in the US🌀 I really felt cleansed here, and my mood improved💖 I've compiled a list of the most worthwhile attractions in Sedona based on my experiences👇 🔸Subway Cave Park your car at Boynton Canyon Trail, and you need to download the AllTrails app⚠️ Pay attention to the cave marked in P6, as this is not an official route, and there are no signs at the fork in the road! Be sure not to take the wrong path. The entire trail takes 3–4 hours. The first part is easy to walk, with some small trees, but it's still very sunny overall, so be sure to bring plenty of water💦 The final path into the cave is very steep and slippery, not very friendly to those who are afraid of heights😭 On the way back, you can follow the signs to check in at the vortex. When you climb to the top of the hill and see the twisted trees, you've arrived. People often meditate here🧘 You can go and see if you feel cleansed☁️ 🔸Chapel of the Holy Cross A very distinctive church⛪️ embedded in the red rock wall. We stopped off at The Shops at Pinon Pointe as a rest stop after a stroll around Sedona. The inside of the church was more compact than I expected. There is a tree along the wall of the chapel, and Jesus is hanging on the tree. From the front window, you can see the great outdoors of Sedona, and I felt its powerful power. (Maybe this is why it's called a power spot...?) I'd like to introduce a cute general store I came across while touring the vortex in Sedona, Son Silver West Galleries Inc. 🐎 The signboard gives off a western vibe 💭 I felt like I was in the American West! lol This is a market-like area packed with Arizona folk crafts, miscellaneous goods, and interior items. Outside the store, there were various objects lined up, although I don't know if they were products or interior items!! ! It was a bit cluttered overall, but that made it more interesting to look at, so I ended up staying there for about two hours 🛍️It took quite a while to look at each one carefully!
